I consistency completley disconnected from everyone and my social life have dropped dramatically...I don't talk to my friends. While I'm doing the craft that I love, the pay sucks and I loathe my hours.....I exercise during the day,flog stuff on ebay and work. That's it. Help........Answers:
If I'd had a friend that it's a radio dj I 'd be glad he'd speak about me that he's playing some music that I like and hand over me some specific times so I can turn on the radio and listen to it. This might just be a polite way for my dj friend to communicate near his/her friends when can't be with them (if that ever be the case).
Have your friends send you list of music they prefer to listen to and on your days off phone call them up or meet beside them. SMS with them nearly the music you play real time or Email if you own access at work.
Of course, if you get to also, converse sometime on the radio, you could have them telephone in and newly role play. I'd do that. Life is a SHOW. Put on the show. Don't let your craft ruin your life. Your friends, if you have them, will love to be gotten involved somehow, even if only to know that you play music FOR THEM - I am sure that you can find a song a daytime for each one of your friends and species of make their afternoon, everyday, knowing that you play that for them. I'd love that.
If the pay sucks, that's not perfect though... that might be a reason to look for something else or somewhere else... Can't comfort you with that. I don't resembling my pay any. But THAT IS SO COOL THAT YOU ARE A DJ! You might just want to hang on to that as your fun part time living and get another factor time somewhere else...

Not many population can truly say they love what they do - stick near it and perhaps you'll seize to have a better rota someday. Radio might be a tough nut to crack, though you need to maintain plugging away at what you think it'll cart to get you moved up surrounded by the scheduling.
