I work full time for a relatively small, but well specified, niche company doing communications full time. Work is fine, but I could probably put my skills to work at a larger company and go further within my career while making more money.
Now, I also hold a home-based Internet business, which is far, far outside of the field where on earth I work 9 to 6. (I don't mix the two, and home-work is never done using work-work time, materials, etc.) In fact, some of the things which I hold learned from my home business own been incredibly adjectives and poignant inmy normal work time.
I'm now thinking of applying to larger companies and PR agencies, but how should I put this current work situation on my CV? Just dump both on in that and run with it, or hide away the home based business? If I stir with a different big company, then I'll turn the business over to someone else, so that's not an issue. Any suggestion?
Answers: Sure, list it. It's righteous expereince. Just tell them you hold on to the two jobs seperate and wuould foot off the one work to someone else if you got hired.
