I know many doctors who are rich and many who can just keep their practice afloat. (I own several family member who are surgeons or in the medical paddock.) It can be an incredibly rewarding profession and I don't want to talk you out of it, but don't surmise only surrounded by terms of dollar signs (in any career) or you'll never be well.
That being said, you hold plenty of time to find a speciality. Go pre-med, keep your eyes unstop, try to talk to some doctors contained by the various field you're interested in, preserve your grades up, and it will come to you in time.
