What do you deduce is the BEST medical/health attention to detail occupation?
I really want to have a craft in the medical area. Not sure if I want to become a doctor, nurse, pharmacist.etc! One thing that other sounded interesting to me is diagnostic medical sonography. I want a job that I will be successful, I can oblige people, but also be capable of have a relations! Please tell me what you have an idea that, what the pay is of the position, and how much school it requires! thankfulness!Answers: I went to conservatory to become a sonographer for a long time.it's very boring and monday through friday manner of thing. It be too boring for me, but you might love it, it just depends on your nature. Honestly, if you actually devise you might be smart enough to be a doctor later you need to be. Being a doctor is probably harder than mortal a nuclear engineer. Becoming an RN is horribly difficult. School is intricate. When I was surrounded by school for sonography I have to take some classes that I studied and go to tutoring for and STILL only get a C on tests. Yes, it's merely that hard. Anyway, if you are smart adequate to become a doctor go Anesthesia adjectives the way. LOTS of money and nil too difficult, like diagnosing patients, etc. Sonographers produce about $60k here surrounded by the midwest. Good luck!
Have you ever looked into Respiratory Therapy? It's a 4 year degree but VERY exciting. I love it. I wouldn't dispense it up for the whole world.
I did not conjecture I would have be interested in the medical corral at all until I scholarly about Diagnostic Medical Sonography and that's what I've fixed to do! I'm currently waiting to get into the program & it's so competitive I may not get hold of in until 2009 or 2010. But I'm likely to wait! The settle up varies alot by state, but average is around $55,000/yr. For my state, it ranges from $50-60k. The program I will be in is an Associate's & is 18 months long. So that's what I mull over is the best medical career, but that's basically me! I'm sure everyone will think their profession is the best :)
*Edit: My teacher for one of my classes is the Respiratory Therapy program director & she told us what adjectives is involved in this trade - it is way more than I thought. I didn't realize how much they do & that they are regularly literally saving lives alot of times. Sounds unbelievably exciting, but I don't think I could feel the pressure of that!
One of the main reason I am so interested in sonography is because I scholarly that 90% of women will choose keep their child & not hold an abortion when they see the baby on the ultrasound. I a short time ago thought that was incredible. What a endowment to give someone - first quick look of their child.
Investment Banking - What can I do in the past university?
I've had a solid interest in investment bank since I started my GCSEs. And no it isn't just the money. I hold a desire to succeed, the drive to reach the top and possibly I do like the belief of travelling around the world as part of the mission too (if I'm good adequate!).Obviously before any of that can begin I need to bring back there! Well I've done my GCSEs and get good grades, I'm ensure I do the same near my A-levels. I've got an hold out from LSE, and plan to do Maths with Economics, so that's adjectives in writ too.
My problem is this...obviously work experience and extra-curricular plays a markedly large part of a set in what make a good application. I know theres the summer placements for undergraduates and I intend to apply. But back I start uni, is there anything I can do to minister to my application? Set up a small business? Start trading? Work experience (if so who with)?

Answers: Get some work experience, something that will stretch you and bring in you improve your ability. Even something in retail is a well-mannered start (build teamworking skills, sales skills, etc.).
While you've get the spare time go and read the entire hindmost archive of the student section of efinancialcareers.co.uk. Also start reading books in the order of banking, "Liar's Poker" and "My Life as a Quant" are both truthfully easy to achieve into.
Look at the 3rd/4th year modules that LSE offer related to financial maths (not of late pure fin maths either, nonspecific stuff like stochastic calculus, etc. as well) and digit out what pre-reqs you'll need within order to be capable of take them and get sure you have them.
If you want to on the trading side of the business (as challenging corp finance/wealth management/etc) then swot up to program. Learn Excel/VBA in-side out. Learn C++ if you want to be a quant.

I am a Wall Street man myself (with a fortune 100 firm), not too familiar beside the investment banking scene within England. New York is fair team game. Anybody can get here. I did not own any prior experience whatsoever in bank (let alone financial services) when I got the internship.
For internship positions, they don't expect nor require you to hold a professional experience, after all, explicitly what those positions are for. You just enjoy to demonstrate genuine interests, desire and skilfulness to learn, enthusiasm, and you enjoy to reach out to like mad of people at the firm. Make yourself "prearranged." Be sure to take relevant courses (that's how they know that you are truthfully interested). Good grades and proficiency with math and numbers are crucial.
Practice interviews. Scoring an interview ability you get one foot surrounded by the door. You must be prepared and perfect when that adjectives comes (because everyone else will be).
