Accelerated nursing scope?

Has anyone REALLY ever completed an accelerated nursing program while working full time? All of the school that have the accelerate programed say clearly on the website that it is not reccommended for someone to work full time.

I'm 21 and attitude a need to relocate my life plans I guess you could influence. My middle child only weigh 1lb 8oz when she was born and she's presently 4 years old but seeing the RN's and the total crew at the hospital while she was surrounded by there made me want to be here to help other family in like peas in a pod situation.

I currently already have bachelors degree in psychology and criminal sprite. Last fall I be able to bear 21 credit hours (still able to stay on the deans list) work full time and nick care of my two children. Now I hold a 3rd baby and it seem like SO much more work. I basically want to know if the it can realisticly be done with the full time employment??

Also is near any financial aid other than loans for this program? (financial aid organization says no)!

Answers: I completed a one year accelerate BSN degree program, I did not work during that year. I know of a few fellow classmates that worked quantity time and did ok. It is a very intense diary and I do not think that it could be done while working full time, not to mention civilized for 3 children! Classes (for me at least) were 3 days a week next to 2 days of clinical. Tests were intense and much of the free time be needed for studying for exams plus homework/papers, etc. Our school did bestow a scholarship program that rewarded for all of the university in exchange for a 4 year work contract at the medical center. Perhaps you could work extra job to save money that would allow you to work cog time. Good luck!
I personally didn't budge through an accelerated program, but I know tons people who enjoy, and what kills them (and every nursing student) is the time loyal to going through clinicals. Imaging going to school full time, and after completing 16-24 hours a week of clinicals... that's what makes it impossible to work.

Without knowing what munificent of support system you have around you, I wouldn't move about so far as to say you won't be capable of do it, but instead go to a nursing college and ask them questions around their accelerated program; they might even hold a night where on earth you can ask faculty and students questions and swot up first hand what it's close to.
