i am looking for the perfect occupation for me. i was thinking an event planner, an owner of a bar/lounge/resturant,a caterer, or a solid estate agent. i plan on living in atlanta. if anyone have any ideas, info around the jobs, or anything approaching that please let me know!Answers: I don't know if you are surrounded by school? You should yak to the career center to see if they do "Assessment Testing" (The best particular is the Meyers-Briggs, but there are others) These test help you align your skills and interests next to different career field, some you may not have considered!
I also suggest the you not win too hung up on figuring out what your "PERFECT" profession is. Statistically, people devolution careers four or more times - and this number is going up. People habitually find new field that they may not have hear about once they are working.

what would be a good primary for me, leading to an interesting occupation and job....i approaching working with computers and technology, i currently work contained by a dental office so i own people skills, correct team communioncation, attention to detail, i approaching projects, prefer to work alone but not a must, i have surrounded by interest in foresics, i similar to solving puzzles/ problems
i'm confused on what to major surrounded by and what job i would own, i've taken some online quizzes but their results are not like my interests, example a rhabbi??
Answers: How more or less computer forensics? (I.E. searching for evidence on computer sturdy drives.) It may require a master's degree - but it would specifically be interesting and it is technologically orient. You would work alone a lot - but it would also require well-mannered communication skills (especially when you have to testify contained by court.)

Try the enclosed space of Computer Science...since you love computers and already have experience. Go find a Degree in Computer Science and see where on earth it leds you!
Management Information Systems if you like both computers and business OR Computer Science if you are really analytical, you resembling calculus, and think you can sit and write up a computer program. I would check out books on C++, Java, and other programs and see if you assume you can handle that.
I enjoy a friend that is contained by graphic design. He loves it. It is profusely about art, so if you similar to that sort of thing. Graphic design and later work on a movie and do special effects. Good luck.

Probably my livelihood is secure because I work within health nurture.
However, my son just get laid off from Dell surrounded by Edmonton, Canada. YUK. I hope he gets another mission soon.

nothing is ever support. also, larger corporations are not the way to dance they lay people sour by the thousands. i got let go after 6 years at my last available job. it was a huge corporation and adjectives my friends there lost their job as well.

No. There is no opening that is out of harm`s way. If your boss comes to work one day and doesn't close to the way you look, he can fire you.
I reason you will eventually see more layoffs because the economy is pretty unpromising and it will get worse until the instigation of 2009. Most layoffs will be in home building and the financial sector but it will eventually flow over to other sector. I can already see new accounting job decreasing in income because of the flood of people looking for job after working for a mortgage company.
The job situation surrounded by the US is pretty bad due to job being shipped to India & China. If you enjoy your taxes prepared by PriceWaterhouseCoopers, there is a great opening that the preparation of that return will be done in India. Something to assume about...
