Dental Hygiene within California?

My wife works as a dental Hygienist, she has an AS scope which in our current state is fine for her to work. We are currently looking into the possibility of moving to California, but I hold heard that to work as a Hygienist surrounded by California you have to own a BS. Is this true?

Answers: No you don't need a B.S. surrounded by California. Californians that want to become a Dental Hygienist go to a community college that have a Dental Hygiene program - and are granted an A.S. degree. Probably duplicate type program your wife was contained by. Hard to get into the programs here - deeply limited space. But no, you don't requirement a B.S.
Depending of the states requirements, you might want to check and see that you wife's current certification and instruction covers what California is looking for. She will most likely enjoy to take another credentials test surrounded by order to practice within California too.

The State's licensing bureau can offer you backing in what may or may not be required. There could be a specific number of clinical hours required if she have not been practicing long.

Most states that I enjoy heard of require the AS- usually if you secure the BS it is because you are working towards the Masters.

Good Luck with your move.

Okay, so you don't like business...what roughly speaking computer science, finance, accounting.

You could return with a job within law - probably freshly a legal secretary. If you want to be a paralegal, see if you can gain a degree within paralegal studies at your university. Perhaps a double major contained by paralegal studies and another subject would be good...
