Do you know any job that will hire at 14?
My daughter, Macey, wants a career. In her words "a real one, not purely babysitting". Do you know any places that will hire at 14? a website? or anything. id really apprecitate your assistance. thanks a ton!:]Answers: Not contained by the USA. Child labor laws pretty much prevent it. Or if they do, it is approaching an hour or 2 a day at the most they she could work. Most anywhere will lately rather not do business with it. They can hire a 16 year infirm pay them minimum wage, and not hold to deal near the majority of the laws. My support tell he to savour being 14. Those years are gone since you know it.
Mc Donald's is your best bet. That is where i have my first "real job". Meaning get a pay check not a short time ago cash for uncommon jobs. Good luck.
What can I do to prepare for a voice over job? (I cant pinch classes at the moment)?
I'm a full time student majoring in clear design and working. However, many associates, teachers, customers, coworkers own told me I have a great voice, yadda yadda.Basically, I plan on individual a freelance graphic designer so I also want to be a foil for that with subdivision time voice overs. I've actually done one radio commercial already but get the gig through connections. And I also plan on interning at my school's radio station.
I cant turn to voice classes at the moment but I want to do more to better prepare myself. But also wanted to ask, is taking classes a must? I know its more than basically reading lines with a great voice, but emphasize words and creating emotion..
Thanks for any tips.
Answers: I would check out you drama / music dept at institution and ask professors there. Also, stay on contact near those connections you have on the one see you got. You can ask them what you can do, procure references and ask them to save you in mind for another see.
Good luck.
What exactly does a sound technician do?
Answers: Sorry, I didn't get you.
Hi Lindsay, A sound technician makes sure that the "roadies" set up the speakers, microphones, cables, wires etc. They test all the channels and make sure that all sounds are within specification. It can involve lots of travel and plenty of late nights. The lifestyle becomes addictive as your life shifts towards being nocturnal. You need a good eye for sound and a background in music. Good luck...
