What am I doing wrong here?
After sitting in my current position for almost 4 years, I am realising that what my title states and what the post is in actuallity are at completely different ends of the specturm. I come from the institution that when you do something- you do it the right way, not purely shove it in to move it stale your desk.My co-worker is of the other mentality- and she does not care wha the outcome is to her arrangements. As long as she can move it to the completed pile, her hands are verbs and she can not be blamed for the completed task- It's off my desk; you verbs it up. I have be told this on several occasions- I on the other hand would be written up if my work looked approaching this.
Today- I came across something that she finished that be not in the humdrum format. 6 months ago we had a discussion and reviewed this procedure for its consistency. She later followed it up until this difference occured- then she claims that our boss told her she could do it that bearing!
Answers: It sounds like if the product self put together isn't cared in the region of by the employees and this doesn't come across to effect business, there's better places to work. Is the money at this job concrete good? Or should I enunciate...good satisfactory?
Not sure what the question is, but I hear your frustration. It may be time to sit down beside the boss and get what wishes to be done, as well as protocols nail down. If he can't be bothered, you may want to look elsewhere to work. If you realize you spend basically partially your waking hours at work, that process you shouldn't have to be miserable and thwarted at every turn.
I doubt she told the truth give or take a few being told she could do it, but whether it's true or not, time the boss earn HIS paycheck. Just don't make any ultimatums. Wait a bit--get your resume contained by order, etc. so within case it comes down on you, you're not too unpromising off.

Has he thought more or less construction? Many construction sites hire regardless of their past.

I really want to move to NYC next year after I go and get my degree, and afterwards try and continue my training, maybe even achieve another degree. And will it be adequate pay for living?Answers: NYC is vastly competitive. Your degree wouldn't capture you anywhere. Not there. You'd necessitate at least a bachelors and work experience to even be taken seriously. More predictable than not the jobs would be going to inhabitants with masters. You would be lucky to go and get a temp job contained by the mail room or as a waitress somewhere.
New York is fundamentally expensive. Go to the NYC Craigslist site and look at what people are paying for rent. You would hold to have an awful lot of money save up front.
If you want to experience NYC, consider finishing your education in attendance. You've already knocked stale two years of it, now you'd only just be going for the last 2. Get an internship so that you can generate some connections. Or maybe you could only set up an internship for your self through your school for a few months possibly a summer vacation? But even that won't be assured and be prepared to have money on appendage. NYC is an amazing place but it costs. Get all your student loans back hand. Once you own lived their a bit you could decide if you want to stay in that.
That degree will procure you far in New York City. You hold a chance at selling reporters on corners. You are even qualified to get a opening as a waitress in some backstreet cafe. You better be armed beside more than that, if you want to survive in the Big Apple.
