Since today is a holiday, that may be the reason she/he is out of the bureau. You could email them and say that you are immensely interested in the mission and were purely checking back to see if in attendance were any question. Answers: I NEVER give my social security number out on an application. If they are interested enough to call me about the job and then say they need to do a background check, I will give it to them then. Do you know what some company's do with your private information? Toss it right in the garbage for anyone to see. It's your call , but it's never a good practice to just hand out your private information
