I am very friendly near customers when I have job in fast-food. I am a express, effective worker, and receive sure the customer gets what he/she asked for, short a complaint. I try to behave myself, when a confronation/conflict arises, and I try not to talk-back to my higher-ups. I've never been a waitress since, though, but have quit a few domestic who've worked at resturants as servers/waitresses, and IHOP. They enjoyed it, though they didn't acquire paid a intact lot, but they would walk out next to cash, definatelly. That is the kinda' brief I'm looking for, as a matter've fact. I'm getting a opening at a steak house, called, "Steak N' Shake." They serve 'steaks' and... 'shakes.' This type of restaraunt requires that you dawdle on quite a few table at a time in command to make some indisputable money. Not a bad place to work and swot how to be waitress.. You might want to look into a family upper unflappable place as well close to a TGIFridays, Max and Ermas, o'Charleys, AppleBees or a real steak house to generate some real money and afterwards move up to a trendy high check place where on earth you have to be really flawless but the money is great... If you aren't old enought to serve alcohol get hold of some training at the Steak and Shake and when you are old adequate go after the better livelihood.

it's an unforgiving charge, but it sounds like you own the right personality for it. try getting your experience at a place i.e. a little slower, after move to a busier restaurant. you will make more money, which is the in one piece point :) Personally, I would have detested working at IHOP. You have to find the right fit. Many places hold different personalities and you can authority (loosely) how the guests will be, as well as your running, depending on what kind of place you are working at.
I despicable being a waitress but found my "thing" as a bartender. other look at your options.

Answers: No, you do not involve to be a licensed cosmetologist to be a receptionist at a salon. And yes, they will hire you without a traditional "receptionist" experience. The receptionist who works at my aunt's curls salon previously worked at Starbucks. She really loves her job and she does a drastically good one too!
