Any penalty for disappearing temp. work next to the State?
I work for the State of MN and was hired second October for a temporary position covering someone while they be out for back surgery. I'm not sure how the State works or anything..I be told that my employment is now extended til the extremity of February and I signed the letter stating that. Initially I be only going to be here til the expiration of January. So right now I'm applying to job to make sure I enjoy something if I'm done here at the end of the month. If I vacate before the extremity of the month will there be any penalty? Can they sue me or anything?Answers: Check your contract for a notice spell. Just wondered if anyone has ever asked their boss if they can fade away their hours? i'm currently doing 20hrs a week but have checked out my benefits etc and if i shift to 16hrs i will be nearly lb50 better off a month working over 4 days instead of 5 a week. its newly that the boss is not the sort of person that most culture get a long near and feel a bit timered to ask! any concept would be grately appreciated.Answers: I have 40 fragment timers working for me and I work around their school schedule.
