Problems beside my boss ? what do you consider?

I hold a Master's degree surrounded by business management from UK and currently surrounded by the US. I was working for this small firm as an admin. I be never interested in admin because I needed a undertaking where I could do something to do beside sales and this be the very first duty of my life. During interview I told him I enjoy no workexperience and will he be willing to train me and he agreed. He did train me for 3-4 days for 1 hour respectively and expected me to be proactive about entity to do. He started having problems next to me and commented that I am not proactive and taking time to learn. I told him repeatedly to give me the recruiters position but he didn't maxim I am not a good fit coz I cant do simple admin's duty well. Can anyone inform me if this can be true. If I cant do admin role I cant do any other role well? Is it that I am not smart ? I agree I made mistakes but I be learning and took me resembling 2 months to learn things suitably well. But he still didn't make available me opportunity to do recruiting.

Answers: After you enjoy learned to be a virtuous Sous Chef, THEN you can have a stir at being Head Chef. But if you cannot demonstrate that you can bring in the sauces, why would anyone "give you a chance" to run the cooking for the total kitchen?

Why do you not do well within the Admin's position, that is the concrete question...

In America, have a degree surrounded by something is rarely satisfactory to do well contained by a career. The approach to succeed here is to excel at whatever you are asked to do, anything it might be. If it isn't something you LIKE to do, then you are on a rung at the bottom of the wrong stepladder!

But fret not... any kind of a point, plus a British accent, a positive attitude, and a sunny disposition will ALWAYS craft you loads of dosh in the US if you stick at it!
In reading your interrogate, I was surprised to cram that you had a Master's level. Your written skills in English are tremendously poor, and since writing is a large segment of an administrative role, that may be why your boss is questioning your means to perform.

It is also not a great view to apply for another job inside 2 months of having be trained for the job you are contained by. He may be expecting a longer return on his training investment than that, and it makes you appear to be overly ambitious and/or ungrateful to want a current opportunity so soon after he took a chance on hiring you.
I agree next to Thin Kaboudit. Just because you have a amount in paperwork doesn't mean you qualify for the chore. You need to swot the basic first. I you can't master that, consequently you won't master the higher position. You other got to work on the uncomplicated skills first before you verbs. I've been a assistant to the recruiter for over a year and all the same other hiring managers won't hire me for the position of a recruiter because I don't hold much experience as the recruiter itself. If you have a scope, you will need some sort of experience unless you own some sort of training elsewhere.

To be hired as a recruiter, you need years of experience, especially if they want one who know what they are doing. In general you do involve to know about employment law and the process of hiring people. You can't merely ask for one and he'll give it to you.
I believe your boss is a professional and good viewpoint. The problems are with youself. Although you hold no working experience, he assigned to do adminstration works, most probably you have a master's scope in business running. But he found your attitude and your work performance poor. As an hand you should try to change his distrustful perception of you. You must stay focus and be accountable and put more enthusiasm on your work, so that he can tuning his assessment of your abilities. Work harder on your available job, you can do that. And not ask for a new one to do.
Don't be a jack of adjectives trades. Change your perception of things. Best of luck in your profession.
