I appplied in a minute how long to dawdle for a phone send for?

I really want to work at Starbucks. I am currently 17 and a supervisor at one of our many theatres. There are some things going on at the the stage and I would like a trial job. Thing is I applied at 3 Starbucks locations on Friday Feb. 8th and one on Monday the 11th. I enjoy had no phone call or anything. How long should I wait and what should I do? Sorry I draw from paranoid easily. Should I in recent times go up here on friday and ask? I dunno.

Answers: Turnover in that industry is relatively big. From personal experience, I can say that unless someone does something to 'procure my attention' I will often times overlook their application.

Since you seem to be to have transportation, I would drop surrounded by to those stores you applied to and ask to see the manager. Remind him or her that you put contained by an application and that you were freshly following up on it.

Hope this helps!
I presume you stick with. you can wait for your ship to come contained by,
you have to step out and catch one.

You own to re-negotiate again.

What job am I qualified for?

I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor's surrounded by International Relations from an international university in Madrid Spain and be on student council. I am American but am fluent in Spanish as I hold lived in Spain for 4 years.

I want to stir home to the US to work. I would work for the government but am not interested surrounded by working in politics or diplomacy. I have a summer internship here in Spain beside a destination management company which I loved. So I wouldn't mind working surrounded by that field any.

My problem is that I when I look for jobs the just thing I give the impression of being to find is secretary or administrative assistant positions. I'm just not sure where on earth to start looking or what to look for. It seems resembling I could put my degree, poetry, and international experience to better use than being a secretary but I don't know what other kind of jobs I am qualified for.

If anyone have any suggestions on where to start looking or on other position options, please permit me know.

Answers: A Bachelor's degree within International Relations, does not give you entry into a specific enclosed space. It does, instead, provide you with a broad ease base that you can use to excel surrounded by a variety of occupation.
The occupations are :-
Archivist,Demographer, Diplomat,Foreign Affairs Analyst, Foreign Affairs Specialist,Foreign Service officer,
Immigration Specialist,Intelligence Specialist,
Journalist,Language Specialist, and
Market Research Analyst .
World Bank comes to mind. Also, consider some of the NGOs that operate where on earth Spanish is spoken. (Red Cross, etc.)

Immigration (INS) is a federal agency that should be looking for people next to your education and skills.

Best of luck. The US wishes people similar to you!
You posted to the Government & Nonprofits board -- is it in those areas you are interested surrounded by?

Nonprofit organizations and system offices would be attracted to both your fluency contained by Spanish (particularly if you have DELE certification) and your international experience, since so oodles nonprofit organizations enjoy Spanish-speaking clients not from the USA. Even so, you may have to start beside a secretary or administrative assistant position -- you haven't said anything that would make me muse you are qualified for a middle management position. But you *can* move up rapidly, if you exhibit a willingness to cram on the job speedily. Note that nonprofits nor the government will discharge relocation fees, so you need to any apply for jobs where on earth you are in the USA, or get it clear in your applications that you are prepared to relocate on your own.

Best places to look for nonprofit jobs:

You said you did a summer livelihood with a "destination administration company." Based on this and your other experience, you could also looking into working at the headquarters offices of organization that create "volunteer vacations" overseas. There is a listing of the more-than-30 bough organizations of the International Volunteers Program Association (IVPA), and some of these may be hiring for their headquarters office, to help them arrange trips out of the country.
