Does anyone work stripping asbestos if so is it an easy job. im just thinking about going on a course?
Answers: Asbestos is probably the dirtiest word around today. Breathing in the dust can damage your lungs and that damage cannot be healed, which is why there are so many Health & Safety rules and regulations about its removal.
That's the official scare mongering view, and for people who worked in the industry the lung disease effects are devastating, however they had prolonged exposure to the dust.
I have had dealings with asbestos mainly as a boiler cladding, in fact as a child played on top of an asbestos clad boiler, have also been in contact with on steam railway locomotives and I suffer from no detrimental effects at all.
It is probably no more difficult than most removal type jobs except it is the rules which make it difficult, masks, protective clothing, dirty clothing rooms, clean clothing rooms, sealing the work space, avoiding releasing any dust, keeping unprotected people clear are just some of the difficulties.
But the only way you can decide if it is for you is go on the course and find out.
I'm not sure if I'd call working with known cancer causing material an 'easy' job. You have to be very careful to contain the site where you're doing the work, otherwise you can be liable for damages caused by negligence if you let abestos fibers go everywhere. From the costs, I'd say it pays well, but you're probably going to need that extra money to cover your insurance costs.

ok so i'm a high college student with a 3.7 gpa and i needed to know what may be a high paying job that has to do near automobiles?
