Inquiring nearly vacancies near my temp agency?
I registered with a temp agency and have to wait for a protection check to go through.Now that it have been approved how do I ask my consultant if he have jobs /placements for me?
I want to bid him but I don’t know how to word my conversation as to not sound so blunt/ rude!
Answers: Just give the name and say "Hey this is (your name) I lately wanted to permit you know that I am still available for work this week and wanted to know if their be any opportunities that I run into the qualifications for."
You supposed to tolerate them know like every week that you are still available if not they will assume that you are already working or aren't available for work.
Just call surrounded by. If it is a larger style temp agency (like a manpower) they will ask you for your s.s.n.
Best to call and utter something like
"Hello, this is (your name). I be calling to see if there be any positions that I may be qualified for."
Why can't my 51 year outdated, intelligent, hardworking, husband find a employment? How can I minister to him? crisis!!?
We came to the country more than five years ago.I enjoy a teaching employment.
When we arrived his English was not the best but for his paddock it was ok (wood flooring).
Almost NOBODY have responded to any of the resumes he has sent over the years.
He have gone to school to advance his English and he has be fluent for many years already.
In the meantime he does handyman job, or gets "lucky" by season and helps remodel somebody's home, but none of this is serious income to facilitate raise a house.
Before coming to the USA he worked in his family's small artisan wood floor factory doing EVERYTHING, from managing a severely small business, to being the guy trailing the machine that cuts or sand the wood.
He has a great attitude and does almost any post!
He's left applications contained by local businesses and he is told that he is overqualified (for working in a hardware store e.g)
He would craft a great stay at home dad but we have NO CHILDREN however, my income is not enough.

Answers: Have him apply to a bus company possibly even a school bus company.
