RNs: What review course did you lug for the NCLEX?
And do you think it worked?Answers: I used a review book from Springhouse call NCLEX-RN. There are even review books for the NCLEX-RN made easy or for dumbies. Mosby is a really virtuous source too! I've used the Springhouse version (the flashcards) and I thought they be easy to take in and they provided the rationales for the answers even the wrong ones. I be soo freaked out about my boards that I needed to own the review simplified, just to label my life easier.
All those books are unforced to find in the nursing clause at Barnes and Noble. Good luck with your boards!
I didn't thieve a course, I got 2 or 3 NCLEX review books and sit in a coffee shop every sunshine for a month or so and studied, doing 2-300 question a morning.
and I passed!
Need assistance near situation decission...what would you do?
I need backing with a decission I hold to make between job.I am currently enrolled at a local communtiy college.I currently work at the customer service desk at a local supermarket. It is a fully clad job and I work beside good individuals.I have wearing clothes hours working two nights during the week and one dark on the weekend. This is not an easy work to get.I have experince working with people/customer service...so I get the job.Several months ago however I rented a bus and get my Commercial Driver License...so this summer I would like to work at a local company as a bus driver. It is split shift...morning and darkness. My problem is
1. I have a available job I like.
2. I would own to get up at 4 AM.
3. I want to thieve two summer classes.
So I have three option...
1.Try to work both jobs and embezzle two summer courses in between the two bus runs And try to see if they will agree to me work customer service on the weekend.
2.Stay with the work I have and lift the courses.
3.Take the driving job and make tracks my current job
Answers: I believe you should keep the work you have and bring the Summer courses. If you try to do all three things, things may draw from too stressful and explode in your obverse. If you really like the profession you have and it supports you all right enough, next you're okay, but it is a good article that you could be a bus driver, you could start looking for a bus driving job after your summer courses are done and you own more time.
