Careers Employment Questions and Answers

Should I still apply?

I'm only 14 immediately but i do have previous work experience such as a article boy and during the summer i worked as a plumber's assistant. I have reasonably good results in institution and a pretty good resume. So, should I apply to Subway and McDonald's?

Answers: Sure, why not? That's the merely way to find out if they will assign you and the worst they can say is no.

I would do it!

I'm thinking about a career in the police force any advice?

its a good career if your a racist idiot that wants money but you will get a lot of stick for doing it by most the people you will meet
if you think you can do it then go ahead but i don't recommend it

Don't bother.

The only way you can help the police out is to beat yourself up.
I am only 12, so forgive me if my views are worthless.

The police force is a valuable part of our community and without it our country would be in a worse off state than it already is.
So while some people may mock the Metropolitan Police Force, and some may say don't join them; they should go to a country with a corrupt police force and brutal punishments, and see if that is really what they want.
Before committing fully to the police force, it is a good idea to spend a few days thinking about the requirements, the training and of course the possible outcomes.
Weigh this up against the pride of serving the queen and community, then you will be able to judge well the situation, and whether that this is the job for you.
Forgive me if my views are worthless, I am only 12 and have a lot yet to learn in life.

Information?

I am italian guy who studies Chinese and English and would like to step to live in South Africa. Which languege do you ponder might be the best to be studied as a third language between French, German and Spanish (since I am in somebody`s debt to choose one of them)?

Answers: I'd go for Spanish as I reason it's more widely spoken than French or German?
i'd chooossseee FRENCH

you'll luv it it's GRRREEEAATTTTT
Hi Marco. You're clever, I can only order English!! On the basis of man the most widely spoken of the 3 then Spanish. It's spoken across most of South America.
They lone speak German in Germany and greatly understand English & French (and Italian on the border). French is jammy if you know Spanish and Italian.
None of those languages will comfort you in South Africa, apart from English. Afrikaans is more widely spoken than English, but next that isn't spoken anywhere other than SA. Zulu is the mostly widely spoken idiom in that country. Afrikaans is derived from Dutch, which is related to German. You may find it easier to swot up Afrikaans if you first have some German, I guess.

French is especially widely spoken in Africa, mostly the north and west, also within Canada and former French colonies.
