you can not work more afterwards 3 hours a day on university days
you can not work more then 8 hours on a non conservatory day
you can not work more after 18 hours a week while school is within session
you can not work more then 40 hours a week any other time
you can not work until that time 7am or after 7pm (9pm when school is not within session)
many states own laws that are stricter after federal laws
depending on where on earth you live you can work at your age but the law confines you to service sector jobs that own no safety risk (example - you can work at a restaurant but can not use knife or fryers so the jobs available are limited)
