What exactly does forfeit funded denote?

I am applying for a job near the county and it says that the position is somewhat grant funded up to a enduring date and then not forfeit funded after that. What does that mean?


Answers: That money if the state ( or feds) does not pick the grant up the following year and your employer wont settle the difference, you will either seize a pay cut or lose your employment entirely. I worked for a grant funded agency once, I get by ok, ended up taking another duty. BUt the girl who took my place got axed next to no warning at adjectives because the state did not pick up the grant. Be fussy of those positions. There is basically no wellbeing from year to year.
