I started a new position as a server of a restaurant. When we (the servers) make a mistake on an directive, we have to rate for them. Is this legal? It can be totally costly!Answers: did they tell you when you started work in that that you would have to repay? well but for i dont think its ilegal.but if you required to fight it you can but you would spend too much money conflict it than its worth,i tell my guys at work if they f*k up they will enjoy to pay.but i wouldnt stroke on it just to startle them. so yes it is legal.
Yes it is legitimate, but your employer is obligated to tell you this when you start working for them.
I once worked as a bank clerk and we were told we would hold to pay if our deposit be out by more than $5. It's a pretty good incentive to catch the employee to pay packet attention to what they are doing and to be more accurate.
this is illegal surrounded by some states
this can not take your remuneration below minimum wage for the shift in any state
lacking knowing in which state at hand is no way to offer an accurate answer
in Texas it is lawful
in California it is illegitimate
No, it's not legal...I don't perfectionism what ANYONE tells you, it's not court under ANY circumstance.
That is a adjectives practice at restaurants, especially small family-owned ones, but just b/c they do it, doesn't get it legal.
