Answers: The major ones are system administrator, Programmer, Analyst, IT Manager, Help Desk, and Project Manager. Personally I am a project representative. You really do have to start at the bottom as a Administrator or Programmer. Then move to an analyst, after into management. That is really the single way to cram the ins and outs of the business. By the time you get to admin therre is not a lot of involvement contained by the actual technical details, more proficiency overview.
There are so many job in the IT worls that it is difficult to sum them up. Look for online job that are available and look at what they want you to do. Then just believe which kind of role you yourself would approaching to have contained by one of these firms.

I would focus on "categories" of job within I/T. There are job which are focused primarily on technology (such as server administration, database leadership etc.). There are also jobs which focus primarily on applications nouns (such as programmer, systems analyst etc.). There are also jobs which focus on project nouns which help guide a project toward completion by coordinating the accomplishments of diverse group of other individuals. I would suggest trying to decide which broad nouns your interests fall into back deciding on a specific charge. Also in I/T you must LOVE swing and be willing to throw away almost everything (technical) you know and start over every few years.
