What's a good part time job for a nursing student.?

Answers: as a nursing assistant.
Especially at the place that you want to work as a Nurse. They will be more likely to hire you after you graduate if you are a good employee. Also, you will gain experience, which improves your marketability, confidence.
When you are a nurse, you will understand an assistants job, which will make you better to work for. As an assistant, many nurses will show you what their job entails, how they do their job (some show you how NOT to be a nurse- by their example).
Many states allow nursing students to test as a CNA once 1st semester of clinicals are completed, without taking yet another class, and facilities pay for the test. Some schools will allow you to CLEP your 1st clinical if you are already a CNA.
When I was in school ,that's what I did. I also noticed that the nurses I worked for were very open to teaching me anything I needed to learn- If I had trouble with school, I had a bunch of free tutors! Now as a nurse, I pay-it-forward. I love to work with nursing students!
Nurses make GREAT medical transcriptionists! It's a great way to make money while in nursing school!

With a circumstance check what would disqualify me from employment?

Its for a state agency, I want to know what they look for.

Answers: Felony Charges. I was reading some of the answers you hold got and I can speak about you this for sure, where I work when we do a milieu check you fill out a form and it is faxed sour to state, when it comes back it is any no records found or they find some brand of criminal charges. Some employers can do a credit check on you but we don't even do that. We hold never called anyones neighbors or friends or anything similar to that, that is preposterous.
prior convicitons.
mostly felony, DUI, etc
They will ask your neighbors give or take a few your behavior...like if you enjoy late dark activities, or population coming and going at odd hours..
who you live with--If you live near the head of the Hell's Angels..I regard they might pass you up
I work for the DA's department ...and they routinely CALL your neighbors and inquire.about what you do..
When I be investigated for a 911 operator they if truth be told went out surrounded by person and talk to my x-landlord, after having be gone from that place for 2 years!
Just because it ~seems~ unheard of, doesn't make it simulated.
I live in Calif so probably other states are more lax.
Lying on your resume (about both the place and time of employment), any questions on the application close to "have you ever committed a felony", drug arrests.

Some state agencies also do a creidt check, if you'll be dealing next to a lot of money.
A lot depends on the position you are applying for. If it is decree enforcement, any prior convictions will eliminate you. Also, most state agencies check your credit rating, they don't want you unseal to bribes. Several agencies will conduct a "home visit" in which they stop by your residence unannounced to see how you certainly live.

Things that eliminate you are felony, alcoholism, drug abuse, lying on your application, etc.
Typically an employer is looking for any felony convictions, verify you attended the school you claim to have, verify your point (if you state that you have one), verify the date of employment and did you hold the positions you claim to have held. They are going to verify the information you provide them on your resume and job application is accurate and truthful.

If you are applying for anything handling money afterwards they would look at credit - to see if you have be in trouble beside that area. Some employer will check credit history, not to see what your credit rating is but to see if you have multiple garnishments or judgements against you. This is going to denote extra work for their payroll and accounting departments, plus you may need time sour to take attention of these issues.

Help me find a job with a business administration degree?

Answers: People don't normally hire degrees. That will just get you in the door. A business admin degree can move into a variety of areas from accounting and finance to marketing and sales (and every other aspect of business in between).

Your first step should be to determine what YOU want to do, how much you want to earn and then start doing some research online. Check out the Occupational Outlook Handbook for potential jobs (http://www.bls.gov/oco/).

Good luck!
