The local community college (perhaps non-credit course) or county vo-tech college may offer such a program or constituent of a medical assistant or ekg (electrocardiogram) program. Just fyi though with the medical assistant that in attendance are not supposed to be too many job out there as very well as with medical billers and coders despite what the school tell the prospective student. Please steer clear of those private expensive school.

I don't know what they make out here, but it's probably not much more than $9/hour, but that could be beside benefits too. You have to weigh within the other benefits you are receiving. If you are able at it, you will be in giant demand. Hospitals requirement them, blood banks want them, laboratories need them, clinics entail them. Even if you start out on the low end of the go up, you could move up rather fast.

:) Hey, i'm 15 and i think i'm ready to get a casual job but i have no idea how to get one! any tips?

Answers: Hello ' ruby 08 ' :
The first piece of advice , at your age , is don't let it interfere with your schoolwork .

I'm not too sure if you have a Social Insurance Card . you didn't say . You need one so that an employer can report earnings and tax deductions from your pay-cheque . ( and other deductions ) . He/she reports these amounts to your gov't .

Try working for yourself . Start right in your own home .

Ask your folks if there are any jobs around the house that need to be done that they are willing to pay you for .

If that fizzles out , then , go door to door in your neighbourhood ( I hope you live in a SAFE neighbourhood ) and ask if they have any jobs that need to be done that they would be willing to pay you for .

Try to do the best that you can ... don't be afraid of hard work , but , work safely so you don't hurt yourself .

Any money you get from parents or neighbours is considered " money-under-the-table " . You shouldn't have to claim it to the gov't .

You could cut grass , pull weeds , paint , clean things , maybe vacuum for a neighbour , etc .

If you like to sew , you could sell your sewn articles . perhaps clothing .

Your summer vacation provides lots of time for earning $ . If you live near a farming community you can work for the farmers . I' ve worked with lots of females all through my life and they always have seemed to be quick workers and good learners !

So , good luck in your job-hunt and always work as safe as possible so that you don't get injured .

If I do nursing at uni, is it possible to become a doctor?

i am currently deciding what ubi course to choose and i be just wondering in the order of this. what courses and things would i have to do etc? gratefulness

Answers: You would have to foremost in nursing and help yourself to additional pre-med classes resembling physics, extra chemistry, calculus, and others. You could even take your pre-med classes after graduation from nursing university if you choose. Check with a pre-med advisor at your institution to figure out what adjectives you need.

I have a friend who intended to do this. She got rejected from nursing arts school and got contained by to med school, but not a soul believes her when she says that.
Nurses can become physicians--of course you inevitability to get into med arts school. Not sure why you see nursing as a pathway to becoming a doc though--not necessary to progress that route and we need nurses, so would be honourable if folks remained in the profession.
Have you considered the NP, Nurse Practitioner way out? Requires grad school (as does MD/DO). You do deeply of what a doc would do as one (docs don't get furious, it's true--a lot of impossible to tell apart territory surrounded by practice.)
Alternatively a PA, Physician Assistant also does much of what MD/DOs do and takes smaller quantity time to achieve.
Medical and nursing models of tolerant care are different, so that could give support to you decide.
Either route you'd plan on practicing near a physician, under his supervision (which does not denote he watches you like a hawk) and below his license. You can do a LOT of patient precision either route and you can specialize.

Either route you requirement a lot of lab science and math. Your writing and reading skills entail to be keen.
contained by aust. if you take nursing and bring high destinctions and some pre permission classes you can get within. but why?
