Do I enjoy to impart my Social Security Number for a bookkeeping profession I do on the side?
Here is the story.I had a slice job for a Lawyer doing his bookeeping for 5 months. He is very soon asking for my Social information to give me a 1099. The attorney never asked for my social information at the time of hire, and things went sour between us. Please see my other question for more background.
So because he threatened to sue me, and adjectives, I am hesitant to offer my social out to him. I have kept accurate library of my pay from him, and have already planned on reporting it to the IRS as income.
Another reason why I am asking is because I hold another part time assignment doing bookkeeping for another Law firm, and I have never have to give them my information. I hold always in recent times reported it on my taxes.

Answers: If they pay envelope you over $600 per year, then they are required to achieve your ssn and give you a 1099. So yes, you want to give it to them - they should hold gotten it from you before they ever salaried you, but if they didn't then they involve to get it immediately. If you make over $600 a year from the other firm and they haven't asked for your ssn, after they are not following tax imperative.

Working off paperwork is illegal. Both ruling firms should have gotten your SSN. You should contact the IRS and find out what option are avail to you.
Last time I check he needs that info so he can claim that you be taking a 1099.. I had to supply my social.. I am pritty sure you do too. Iwould contact your tax entity.

FMLA will protect you. It depends if you have used it before though. You get twelve weeks a year. People think its year to year (starting every January first) though which is wrong. If you take FMLA and go back to work Nov 13, 2008; you hafta wait til Nov 13 2009 to take leave again.

Answers: I would work at either a movie theater or a grocery store. The movie theater would involve greatly of cash handling, but you will take used to it, and the computers or cash registers do the math for you. I used to work at a movie theater when I be in dignified school. I am very soon 24, but I look back at my movie theater days as the best time of my enthusiasm. It was such a social environment, and I met lots of guys. I also never have to pay for a movie. I saw the unknown releases before they even come out!!
You should first find out what the laws are within your state as to the age limit is for teens to be employed by a business. If your state allows 15 year olds to work within a business establishment, you can certainly try your local movie theater or cleaning office in the evenings.

Do you want a job that does not involve dealing near money because you are afraid you will make a mistake.Do you enjoy trouble with math.I other have .Dont receive a job work frozen at school/Talk to your parents about getting you a tutor or shift to sylvan learning center.You involve school and getting a undertaking is fun at first but honey after you work with the public for a while working near food or at a movie theatre and you hold awful people screaming at you and throwing cokes at you you will option you used your time better for school. I own worked at concession stands ,restaurants,nightclubs adjectives kinds of places and inhabitants are so mean to you because they can be. If you want to do it for a summer you might own fun but stick with the math so your not doing it for the rest of your duration.
