ppl, i am not sure what career i want. i am a junior within highschool. i know i still have profoundly of time ahead of me to decide abt dat but still i wana own a goal i wana work at. i love writing deeply, i like journalism. i also resembling medical related stuff. i dont mind having 2 majors or 1 primary and 1 minor in college. i want a do a respected work dat gives upright payment. i am creative. i don't approaching active job where i enjoy to move around a lot. i am worried of seeing ppl's pain close to patients' pains. i like stable, interesting job. i want to help ppl contained by some way. donate me suggession plz abt career. or confer me tips on how to figure out what trade i want.Answers: I had another infantile man ask a very similar interrogate. But before you choose a profesion, the most improtant piece you need to opt is: what type of lifestyle do you want to live? You say your parents want you to be a "good-salaried employee". There are pros and cons to this as near every profesion. The way I look at it at hand are 4 different ways to make a living. 1- a "wage employee" includes anyone who get paid by the hour. They mostly make smaller number money, do not live a great lifestyle, but work more flexible hours, allowing the more time and freedom to enjoy it. 2- salaried body generaly earn more money, living a great lifestyle, but usually get smaller quantity time and freedom to enjoy it. 3- self employed, or an invester can earn much more, or loose much more. Enjoy time at its best and control every aspect of it, if things are good, but stress more than anyone if they are not. 4- wonderers- can't communicate you much there, they are crazy but wallow in life surrounded by there own ways. Well, looks close to I am writing a book. Anyway think more or less what you want in duration before picking a profesion. Once you do be sure that it is what YOU want. Your profesion will most plausible be what you spend most of your life doing. There is nil worse than hating what you do, no business how much you gat paid. And other keep your eyes unstop. First off, this be very rock-hard to comprehend ... you might want to try typing full words and not using so many abbreviation, especially being interested surrounded by journalism. Better to get surrounded by the habit of proper English in a minute.
Don't put so much pressure on yourself. I am 22 years old, and I of late started school, and will be getting a amount in Creative Writing (hopefully), unless I modification my mind again. Just go next to your gut feeling, and don't ever quality pressured in to making a hasty edict.

How many years you want to budge to school? Along near how much do you want to spend on school?

I had no clue what I required to do and I started asking myself those questions. I didn't want to jump to school for years and come out making nil but I also needed a job that would be household friendly.
I chose Human Resources because I like an organization setting, and almost all HR job are Mon-Fri 9-5 and my salary when I am done will more than cover my academy loans.
If you are thinking of going to college I would look at their website and look at all the degrees/certificates and try to interpret yourself doing each one and if it would be something you would be festive with.

Nursing School Questions?
Hi. I'm in my latter 30's and am getting ready to enter into Nursing conservatory with no previous college experience, except some vocational, years ago. I am bright and full of self-motivation and determination but to be honest, I the creeps the Math involved in Nursing. Math have always be my weak point. I trepidation that if anything, this may prevent me from fulfilling my goal of becoming a Nurse. I would approaching for any advice from Nurses, preferably RN's as opposing LVN's, as I already have spoken to a household member who is an LVN's. Any proposal would be greatly appreciated and taken to heart. I realise that what one person considers difficult, may not be for another, and visa versa, but still desire feedback from someone already surrounded by Nursing school or someone who's be through it already. Tips on avoiding getting discouraged, difficult courses, etc. ANYTHING! The more answers, the better. you can't give me too much warning, believe me. She did have her college amount then she contracted to get her RN. To do that she took a few correspondence courses at an approved school contained by New York. Then she took her practicals in another state. She be about 40 when she get her RN license.
My point here is that you can do almost anything you really want to do. Obviously it may be a little tardy to be an Olympic skater or one of Britney Spears' social friends. ;P
So, can you take your math course online and own it apply to your nursing degree? Very possible.

I would start out at a community college and take a math placement oral exam. When I started, I had to bring a remedial math class, b/c I had forgotten adjectives of my algebra from high arts school. I was initially insulted, but it turned out to be a particularly good piece for me.
When you get to anatomy, you will be erudition lots of terms you enjoy never heard up to that time, and will have to locate them and know what they do. You sound basically like I did! I fear math, thought I sucked at it. But honestly, the math you need for nursing is NOT adjectives that intimidating. It is basic algebra formulas.
At my academy, in lay down to take my chemistry pre-req I needed to overrun a certain plane of math on an assessment / placement test. I score two points below the requirement, so I self-studied and retook the test and score 3 points better and made it into my chem course. They also had a "nursing math" course for 1 credit that they required you any take and outdo, or you could try to test-out and take the final exam in need taking the course. I did the test out - it be VERY easy - adjectives questions be like "If you own a prescription for 400mg of a medication and you only own that medication available in 50mg tab, how many pills will you grant?" Seriously.
If you are going for a BSN degree, you will necessitate a college-level math course as part of your grad requirements. Many programs require statistics. It's concrete, but honestly, they teach you everything you have need of to know - and if they don't, they are not doing their job as teacher!
