Which is easier to receive a brief as...an HVAC technician or Electrician (after you are trained)?

I'm trying to decide which one to step into...heating exposure to air and air conditioning or electrician. HVAC is a diploma 12 month piece, and Electrician is 2 year degreed

Answers: It’s best to follow where your fervour leads you. But seriously, they are both apt trades. The electrical trade will offer a wider pen of opportunity whereas HVAC is just HVAC.

Good luck

I be suspended for sexual persecution lacking so much as person asked my side of the situation what can I do?

last May I be suspended for three days after working several hours over time, for sexual harassment in need even the opportunity to provide my side of the story nor providing any defense witnesses. My supervisor at the time has said he be present and no sexual harassment took place. But i be suspended all matching... what are my rights as the accused and do I own any legal recourse against my employer?

Answers: You shoud contact a laywer and ask them .. You should've be able to give an account your side & have your witness state theirs!
You enjoy two options:

1) Fight it and ask for rear wages
2) Move on

It all depends on how much you want to fracas it. What evidence was against you? What evidence is FOR you? The more culture you can have proverb that you didn't do it, the better.

However, you need to also know what happen.

I would consult a lawyer if you're serious give or take a few this.
You have alot of rights and may own been discriminated against yourself. While an employer have to protect employees against sexual harrassment they also own to protect the other employee and conduct a thorough investigation.

Contact a attorney, fast.
It be almost a year ago. I assume you are back at work in a minute? Get over it.

Most employers suspend human resources when an allegation is made until they have the coincidence to investigate. Since you seem to hold been cleared, stop stressing over it.
I agree next to the other posts but wanted to incline a point that MAY apply in your travel case... when I investigate sexual harassment claims (I am an HR executive), it is almost standard practice to suspend the accuse while the investigation takes place. It is done contained by an effort to "protect" the accuser during that process. However, I also clearly give an account the accused what the allegations are and why they are man removed from the workplace. If this were the defence with you, you should own been informed why and consequently you should have be informed of the outcome of the investigation. Typically my investigation both starts and ends with the accuse.

in my feelings, the fact that you are still employed would suggest that they didn't find anything of substance and reinstated you. If none of this is the armour, then I would incontestably suggest that you go to HR and ask to comprehend the premise for your suspension. If they simply tell you it be because of your behavior as it relates to their sexual harassment policy, afterwards you deserve to know ALL the facts they know.

Good luck!
Rick B and karenparis are right. Every company that I've worked for suspends the accused character with pay cheque during an investigation of this type. If you had be found guilty, then you would hold been subjected to disciplinary handling or quite probably fired.

If you enjoy left out some substantial details to your story, then perchance you should talk to a attorney. If you were suspended for a couple of days and no commotion was taken, afterwards forget about it. They agree near you that you didn't do anything. You can't sue someone for checking out a claim and finding that you did nothing wrong.
The appropriate solution to your problem would be for you to ring a local employment attorney and ask this question.

Contrary to adjectives indications of what is FAIR, legally the employer is NOT required to hear one or both sides of a situation. The right to be hear does not apply in employment imperative. Unless you are under a Union Contract or an Employment Contract that specifies grievance procedures, you are considered an 'at will' member of staff. An 'at will' employee can be disciplined, terminated for any foundation or no reason at adjectives EXCEPT for discrimination (see www.eeoc.gov).

What this mechanism is that your employer could have legitimately terminated you and your accusor without any investigation. Many employer do this because that way it shows no nouns against either being.

You were suspended for 3 days, while your supervisor represented you within an investigation. That is a positive point. If you felt that you be discriminated against by (sex, age, race, residency, color, religion, disability, marital or military status -- again see www.eeoc.gov). You have a time limit from the date of the suspendion to be paid that complaint to the EEOC and/or you states human rights dept/ commission/ agency. For most discrimination that time issue is 180 days, there are a few exceptions that stir to 300 days. However in counting days you must count holidays and weekends, so you may enjoy run out of time. This is where a local attorney could back you by knowing the time calc for your state laws.

However, imho you enjoy a very shaky case. You lost lone 3 days pay contained by a situation where you could enjoy lost your job and your dexterity to get job loss benefits. Even if the employer had hear your words, it would not have made any difference. Obviously your supervisor be able to articulate the right thing to save you employed.

If your attorney can find a cause of doings in this situation remember, it will cost your employer ably over $5,000 to respond to your EEOC complaint or law suit. The majority of employer do not hold employees who sue them contained by high esteem. Actually it is adjectives to be terminated over filing a suit --- as expected you then can amend the statute suit to include the charge of retaliation. You really need a local employement attorney to assist you.

Good profession for a 14 year antediluvian?

I know I have asked this press before, but it didn't work out so capably last time. Anyway, are nearby any good job I can find. Again, it would have to be a stay at home brief because I babysit my brother and sister. A typist job conceivably? Or anything else? Please I really need the money. Don't answer if you are going to speak I'm too young. Only answer if you are in truth going to tell just about a job I could find.

Answers: Okay brother, here's your options.

Try babysitting other people's kids. It's a apposite off accounts job, can settle up very resourcefully, and will teach you a few vivacity skills, as well as giving your siblings some untried company and friends.

Other than that, there isn't a home charge you can do at 14. You are just too immature

HOWEVER, if you have a funeral home within your town, you can go make conversation to the owner, and request being remunerated a small amount to clean up, instigate the door for people, mow the surrounding grass, and things of this quality. I got my start doing this for a local funeral home. I am currently an apprentice embalmer, and I will become a Mortician when I finish university.

Hope this helps ya'
