I am pursuing a position as an exec. assistant for a CEO and Pres. in the authentic estate industry. They also need someone to work as an office proprietor and help assist beside and direct system changes that they are trying to get. I offered a salary reach during email exchanges and haven't had an interview on the other hand. We will be setting that up in the days to come. Upon more research/thinking, I believe I should enjoy offered a different salary inventory.

I plan to express my desire to change my take-home pay range when they contact me to set up the interview. What is the best approach to handle it besides wise saying "I want more money"? lol I wouldn't seriously say that but you gain the idea.

My husbands work is making him work 10 days surrounded by a row. Anything we can do?

My husband works for Lowes. They are making him work 10 days in a row minus a day stale. We just moved to North Carolina a few weeks ago. He have been employed near Lowes for over 2 years, and just currently transferred from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. Is in that anything we can do about this? Isnt is against the canon to make someone work that various days in a row?? Thank you

Answers: No, explicitly how retail is, in reality that's how many job are. My boyfriend works 7 days a week every single week, in smaller amount he puts in a daytime off within advance. If guys can't feel him working 10 days, then he requests to stand up and say he already have arrangements for that day.
I live contained by NC too and as far as know there is no canon against it.. But some jobs proffer if you work 6 days the sunday you would be off or alternate between weekends. or it may be that they are short hand and maybe they could only just cut his hours so.. Have him ask his boss for a reduction contained by his hours..
But be careful grounds the economy is unpardonable now so you dont want to ask for something very soon and don't like the winding up results.
In a "right to work' state there is no ceiling of days in a row that can be required by and employer of an hand! I would say that they are pushing him basically to see how far they can push! The only piece he can do about it is quit! How is the rest of the workforce schedules at this individual Lowes? Is he the only one to be precise working such a schedule? Perhaps the certainty that he transferred into that store is causing a problem. i.e. People from the south really don't similar to Yankees, especially the ones that relocate to their state!
Here is the North Carolina Department of Labor website:

You may be able to find info nearby. However, I couldn't find anything limiting the consecutive days of work. As long as he is being salaried overtime whenever he goes over 40 hours (or 45 surrounded by some cases) in one week, later they are doing nothing wrong.

You can read the entire Wage and Hour Act surrounded by PDF here:

If he is not happy beside the work requirements, he is free to leave anytime.
No, there's nil illegal more or less that.

Answers: If these things interest you, then you'll do in good health:

#1 - Love math & science & people
#2 - works thorny
#3 - can juggle alot

I'm a little bit elder than you & in nursing university - so I share your interest! I have for a while insider info, as a Patient Care Assistant (nurse's aide - do this to get an opinion ASAP if you really like one in condition care - nursing home is a virtuous place to start - they are old, but particularly nice) aides make little $, but know the approach around, with little responsibility.

Basically - most shifts are same & different. As a nurse, you stipulation to get report from nurses going rotten shift & then you go before to toe assess each merciful. Then you do everything that needs to be done! Give medication, do therapies, contract out to aides (baths, beds, essential signs), transcribe orders, evolution dressings and communicate with everyone (patient, own flesh and blood, therapists, other unit, DOCTORS).

This is just medical -surgical unit. There is so many more specialites - close to Pediatrics, Emergency Room, Operating Room, Labor & Delivery.

The nurses who respond poorly on this site are probably burned out. It is common, but bring as many degree as you can when you are young - Bachelor's first - 4/5 years contained by school & later get masters degree- could be Nurse Practictioner (spelling wrong) are close to one doctors with own practice, Nurse Midwife deliver babies, etc. Many more specialities.

You own so many opportunity to learn latest things, schange units & your speciality that you should never burn out.

Good luck! If you want to kind good money, flexible work schedule & something to really help those that can't give support to theirselves, this is for you.
nurses's career is a difficult undertaking. if you are not serious about it next you will lose job and opportunity. you said that you want to be a nurse, then study intricate specially in math and science( biology, chemistry, and physics) . typical hours of darkness for me, ummm i dunno? maybe watching stars during the darkness in the twilight grass? heheeh. only joking!
