What be your first couple of months a just now CPhT similar to?

I just received my state licensure and also CPhT records just 3 weeks ago (I took both the state and national exams). I be wondering to those who are pharmacy technicians, what was your first couple of months contained by your career close to? The school I graduate from was honestly not that thorough (condensed 2 month course beside no internships or even labs...just strictly bookwork). I consistency so very timorous. Were you treated nicely, be your fellow co-workers nice and patient near you? I just don't want to mess up. I've be wanting to be a CPhT for such a long time. Thank you to all that answer!

Answers: You're not going to mess up, and the nerves will wear stale as you get more experience. Congratulations, on ratification your exam. Technicians, though sometimes catty, are usually a great group of folks, and they do good work almost minus exception. Congratulations again, I hope you enjoy the pharmacy as much as I do.
Honestly, for me zilch changed. I have be a pharm tech for almost eight years now and single became internally certified in January of ultimate year. Nothing has changed for me as far as the workload or even the wage rate, but I do live in Mississippi. Not much can be expected here within the money department.

The job itself is not that discouraging. I have one and only worked in a hospital inpatient environment. I do not know how retail is. I read it can be a bit more stressful since you have to do business with the public and insurance and whatnot.

When I be starting out, I was given three months of training. My co-workers be patient and nice and inherent that I was completely untried and had to be trained resourcefully or it meant more work for them contained by the longrun. I don't know. If you get a righteous group of co-workers I guess it makes adjectives the difference. Good luck and congratulations on the CPhT.
