Careers Employment Questions and Answers

I own an interview today for administrative assistant?

what should i wear apart from the obvious one clothes lol.

Answers: wera p.m.a. ..positive mental attitude
a nice clean business suit.
i resembling pants suits or a nice blouse and slacks
smart tailored suit rather, no heavy ornaments, i.e 20 earrings in respectively ear. And don't be late, that usually loses you any hope of the opening.
Doesn't matter they hire anyone for these positions.
Keep your leader down and work hard as family in this enclosed space are 10 a penny and there's always someone waiting to steep your shoes.
Dress nicely and tidily. A business suit, if you have one, will work okay, but so will other outfits. Choose something from your wardrobe that's on the conservative side and not sexy. It's better to start off on that memo.

Good luck!
As the others have said - business smart; righteous luck - hope you get the post.

tip: wear a smile too, no issue how nervous you are
particularly nice dress pants & nice shirt near sleeves & a smart jacket if possible...by adjectives means if you own any tattoo's make sure that it's COVERED.
DO NOT wear open-toe shoes at an interview..breed sure you smile & use eye contact as well
excluding that, good luck

Work problem?

I made this mistake at work (law firm) wherein I used our law research commentary when I was researching someone I know intuitively. Unbeknownst to me, I had access a public database that was outside our usage plan and is hugely expensive. The bill has come subsidise and is more than $5,000! I am working with the company to remedy this and hopefully gain it excused, but what now?!? I am liable to pay member of it (or all of it) backbone if I have to. From an employer's perspective, how egregious is this, in particular considering the entire bill may get dismissed? Is in attendance anything I can say, or am I worrying too much?

Answers: Fairly egregious.and I'm not sure if I fathom out how it was "unbeknownst to you." If it wasn't within your account, you would hold received a warning (from Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw) earlier being competent to continue (I bring back those all the time when I try to attain something and find out it isn't within the subscription plan).

Second, this be a personal project, not something for work and you are using company time and resources to do something that is un-related to your employment.

Plus, when using those databases - in that is a warning around what purpose you're supposed to using them for, etc. - so if what you were doing wasn't related to those reason - you could get surrounded by trouble - not only beside your employer, but possibly by the authorities...
The company will have grounds against you, not so much for access a database which was outside of the usage plan (an honest mistake), but for using the access provided by your position to check out a personal nouns. If I were your boss, I'd be likely to wonder whether I could trust you with confidential information.

Apologize, promise not to do it again, and try to carry the bill dismissed. Your employer may or may not decide to be forgiving - if they aren't, permit it go, cram from it, and move on.
