Is 20k/yr starting salary possible?
Also how tons years would a M.B.A take?
Answers: You're close to me right now.. No direction or anything and I'm not knock you at all, it's impeccably ok. Your geographic location is alot different then mine as you're surrounded by New York and i'm in Texas (I'm going by your degrees), but you appear like a really right fit in the IT industry! You enjoy a windows server, N+ and a Comptia A + certifications, and that alone will begin you some doors in the IT business! I would try working surrounded by a community college in their IT department but don't stop nearby!
Apply and use the internet dude! that's what i did! I would use the hotjobs part of yahoo or contact some IT staffing firms (i own a couple if you need some!). Put yourself out within, get yourself a resume together and cause your name specified, someone will give you a fortune! You have no model how many ethnic group I know were entry stratum people and they found their niche so to speak and they be given their break! They simply got their label known though! Like I said, I'm manifestly sure that you'll find a job in the IT world for sure! You just enjoy to make a couple of phone call and get your identify out there, use hotjobs to grasp some contacts, even post your resume online. That's how I got my start! With the type of credentials you own, believe it or not but your degree will speak louder consequently your experience, and you will probably end up making at lowest 40K starting! It's all up to you dude! best of luck to ya and i hope i help at least a bit bit!
P.S. if you're looking for a HUGE management role beside a company one day, later go put a bet on and get your M.B.A. depending on how masses hours you take, it usually take 2 or 2 1/2 years! If you get surrounded by to the right company or campus, then they'll clear for your masters classes! just something to cogitate about!
Do I detail my boss I'm looking around or linger until I own a firm assignment present?
In this particular situation I would resembling my boss to offer me more to stay on. If I own a firm job volunteer then I'll know exactly what my money expectations are but I'm not sure what is morally best practice and what will get me the best operate.Answers: do sum research on average salaries for youyr occupation. use that information along near your accomplishments and ask ur boss for a raise. if they dont endow with it to u dont cause a fuss lately keep looking for a current job. no have need of to tell ur boss becuz they could turn around and fire u until that time u find sumthing else. when u get a unknown job supply a 2 week notice which is an legitimate amount of time for the old employer to find a replacement.
No NO No
Employment is nearly trust - if you want more money - ask for it - do not blackmail.
If you get an hold out you need to consider it - if you reject it you will never get a commission with that other company again.
what you are doing is on the lines of "the little boy who call wolf"
As an HR consultant I always recommend managers contained by this situation not to offer more - because you will look to do it again and again - this is not a course to build trust. If you say you own another job - you are wise saying you are no longer interested.
Don't do it.
If you tell your boss you're "looking around" for a modern job, afterwards he'll start "looking around" for your replacement.
What do you reason of my interview? Do you come up with I could seize the profession?
I had a duty interview today and I think it go well. I be interviewed by the VP of the company. They initially said it would take solely 30 minutes, but it went up to almost an hour. He asked me closely of questions around my current position, my skills, weaknesses, and experience, and how I pedal the job underneath pressure. He asked me about the stipend that I'm looking for and when could I start working since I am currently employed. Before it ended, he give me a handwriting test. He asked me to write anything on the treatise and sign it. What does it mean? What I wrote on the composition is my enthusiasm to work with their company and how great their products are. Before it done, he also asked me for another copy of my Resume. I thanked him for the opportunity and he said he'll maintain in touch. What do you suggest? Do you think I own hope? Thanks!PS I am currently employed, and am looking for another job close to home and he know it.
Answers: sounds like it go pretty good. as for the writing...contained by the last few years employer have begin analyzing handwriting. its a personality examination in one word. from the curve and slant and slope of ur post they can tell so much going on for u. however its not an exact science so employers dont end their decision solely on that.i wonder if thats what he be doing. u should have asked very soon i'm curious. HAVE A GREAT FIRST DAY ON UR NEW JOB! :)
sure seems positive, the writing piece is odd.
pious luck
weird. It sounds resembling he is getting a handwriting sample to win an analysis done. There might be some basis for judge someone on their handwriting, but I'd be wary of an employer who uses that as a hurdle to hiring, especially if they are not up front in the region of it. Hmmmmm...
