What does a Radiologic Technician do exactly? I know in general but can anyone specify? Looking into career?
Answers: Radiologic Technologists do lots of studies.
Xrays, Barium Enemas, Upper GI, some IVP's, Xray in O.R.
You will take Xrays of patients using positions that you will learn in school. These positions give you the best view of the area you are examining.
BE's require giving someone an enema with barium, the Dr. will fluoro the pt. and then you will do a specific set of films afterwards.
UGI's you give the pt. oral barium , the Dr. will do their fluoro study you will do films also
IVPs require giving a pt. contrast via IV and then taking films at set intervals.
You will do films in OR
I have done films on deceased pts. to look for possible trauma that can help answer questions as to how they died.

My emily hit it right on the money... Also be prepared to work different shifts and push around heavy xray equiptment and deal with all ages from newborn to 100yrs old.Good Luck. You may wish to call 2 or 3 xray depts and ask specifics or look at their in house job posting board. Techs make decent money and can always add specialties as to what they do.

to get a polite raise, my controller has told me that i stipulation to write/type 3 goals and how i will acheive them.i work at in haste food, Taco John's (basically a Taco Bell) i'm a closing shift manager and can close lacking another manager individual there.

Answers: You could improve the success of the closing procedure, improve member of staff relations, and cut down on safety hazard. Look at each operation and break it down into several independent steps which human resources can perform, stop when interrupted, and start again lacking repeating their procedures. Safety procedures are paramount for liability purposes to the company and for personal reasons to the personnel. Improving employee relations to bring as many as possible anxious to carry to work, interact better with respectively other, and enjoy working for the customers would be honest. Perhaps a contest for ideas from the team with a reward for the best suggestions.
