Position varying to Customer Service Coordinator?
I have be working in a small family connections owned & operated, retail store, for almost 6 years. Over this time I enjoy given myself the title of Administrative Assistant, because I do a whole span of things from accounting to scheduling to customer service to orders and working beside our vendors. Although I enjoy been looking for a current job for some time, I am virtuous at what I do and enjoy it to some level.In the last year, various of their family member have started working here, and I own slowly been disappeared in the shadows of late doing my thing.
Now they share me they want me to be a "Customer Service Coordinator" that works will our sales team and the customers. Basically not doing my old duties and tallying a huge load of responsibilty to my afternoon. I know I should think this is a step up, right? But for some judgment I don't and I don't want to do it. Maybe it's because I'm comfortable in my position (although bored) and because I enjoy been trying to capture out of here but have found no job yet.
Answers: I give attention to it's time to move on...6 yrs. is a especially long dedicated relationship. Spread your wing girl - if you don't like what else is out within I'm sure can always shift back. But I wouldn't! There is so much more out at hand and so many other interesting job and people to assemble.

1. If the level of responsibility is varying, then yes, you should obtain an increase in your pay...even if it is a small percentage.
2. Are you unhappy beside the company or unhappy next to what you are doing? If it is the company then you should start looking for a living while taking the new position.
It is much unyielding to find a job when you are out of work...because you are more desperate to pocket the first thing that comes around.
Don't put contained by your notice until you enjoy a firm offer elsewhere. In my feelings, yes you should accept the tentative position. You say you're going to be disappointing because you'll miss working with the vendor, but you'll probably develop relationships with the customers you will in a minute be working with. I come up with the change will do you correct, and break the boredom, at least until you find something else. And the best division of it is, you will be able to add on new skills and experience to your resume'. Good luck!
What's a opportunity that can use my skills for police type work and medical type work (EMT, paramedic)?
I'm very interested surrounded by police work and have my AA contained by Criminal Justice but I found out that I'm also interested in EMT/Paramedic work. Is in that a job that ties these two together?Just keeping my option open.
Answers: Perhaps a coroner or detective? Typically, the medical and police divisions are separate, so you would probably own to go to more university and do something higher up (such as coronor or investigator, operation, etc), in decree to tie the two.

AA in criminal equality doesn't qualify you for anything.
All that means is that you own studied the legal system but doesn't administer you any practical experience doing anything. There are people beside Bachelor degrees within CJ that can't get the job you are describing.
A paramedic and EMT DOES NOT have anything to do beside a CJ degree, to be exact a totally separate certification.
Police Officers extremely often own paramedic training or a firefighter.
What do I say-so within a follow up phone for a position interview?
I have already be on two interviews and one was beside the president of the company. It has be a week since my last interview and they still haven't call. I think I should call upon them, but what is a proffesional way to right to be heard 'what's up, do I have the position?'Answers: Identify yourself in a formal style and say" If possible, I would like to gain an update on the interview I had on such and such date and if in that is anything further I would need to provide".
