I work for Staples, and my boss is kind of a tremble. I tried to call out of work today (had never done it before) because in attendance is 6+ inches of snow and it's supposed to sleet all hours of daylight until tonight. When I told him I didn't think I'd gross it in, he said "capably I just come through there and they're plowing immediately, so get here as soon as they plow, but appropriate your time because if you die you're no good to me". I construe that this is awful! I can't really stand my job. I plan, I work in the copy center, and it go by fast and there's other something to do, but the customers are assholes, and I can't stand working for corporations any longer. My friend works at an office surrounded by town, she went through a temp agency. She get paid really very well and has an assured nice relaxing office mission where she get to listen to music. Should I too apply through a temp agency for an office errand??Answers: Of course you can always look for another post, you are not forced to stay at this one. Keep in mind temp job are really disposable, in that a temp can be cut in the blink of an eye if things get tough for a company.
As for your boss, he may hold been trying to be funny. Also, hang on to in mind he probably have one heck of a stressful drive in, only just to be greeted by his staff calling in and truism they can't make it. Not a nice passageway to spend your morning.
