any info about what a pediatric nurse is and how much schooing they enjoy would be great. thanxAnswers: Like the other person said, it depends on what even of pediatric nurse you want to be. An LPN is one year of school after pre-requisites. You can become an RN next to either a two year amount (plus one year of pre-reqs), or a four year degree. Some hospitals hire nurses surrounded by PEDS with with the sole purpose a two-year degree, but the hospital contained by my area requires a 4 -year BSN to work surrounded by PEDS, but accept the two year point for every other unit.
Depends on if you want to be an RN or an LPN. 2-3+ years. . . income varies form one to the other.
