My office will be closed for 3 weeks for remodeling and my boss stated that we will bring paid for the 3 weeks that the department is closed. He also stated that in the event that we are terminated we will own to pay this money support. Is this legal. They are lawfully bound to pay you and the principle of no work -no repay cannot be applied in this skin !
Unless you have signed an agreement that you will repay the funds, they are yours to maintain. An employer who makes a judgment to pay workforce during a closure does not have the right to after that change their mind and emergency repayment of those funds unless there is a written agreement which prevails.
