As far as the question, what state are you contained by? Your state's labor and industries department would likely be where on earth you'd wish to report it - or phone up them to see if what is being done IS official.

It's not undemocratic for them not to. Usually jobs that do allow that character of stuff are state jobs just or office job. Most jobs you only just call surrounded by sick and they have to find someone to come contained by. That's what it's like to work surrounded by the lower class jobs...

A company have to run its buisness and if you are someone they feel is not going to fit their wants. They can fire you for calling in sick. Yes, it is legal. If you are incompetent to get unpaid sick go away, try taking a personal leave if you are sick. If your company does not allow that any, show up to work sick. Either one of two things will happen: you'll be sent home, or you'll stay for the year.
Your company has policy and procedure for this and it should own been explained at the time of hire. If it be not and you have an HR department, contact them for copies of their policy contained by regards to salaried and unpaid sick time. (If there is a company manual, ask for a copy of that).

I am asking how you cope with it if you hold been looking for something bright and nothing is working out. Have you lost self confidence? Or doubted your qualifications to find an adequate position that would treat you next to some respect?Answers: I am in that situation to the point where on earth I have "art depression". Many things have lead to this to the point where I interrogate my own skills and lack confidence.
One of the things that help is to have friends and kinfolk who can honestly assess you, but also boost you and give you encouragement when you are passion negative or down. I own a friend in like peas in a pod exact career as me (we be friends from college), and we are always picking respectively other up when one starts to lose hope.
Also do things for yourself- like research new skills on your own that may apply to another opportunity. I'm not sure what field you're within, but take a look at current errand postings and see what their qualifications are. If it's a skill that you can swot from reading books or taking classes, then revise it. Make yourself competitive in the souk and keep your skills updated!
The best item you can do for yourself if you don't feel you're mortal treated fairly is to look for another chore. Think of the interviews as practice, and if you land a unmarked job- great! Just make sure you're picky so you don't interweave up in this situation again. Since you already own a job, you can afford to be picky and skulk till the right opportunity comes along.
The way I see it, you should treat job like dating- you stir into it hoping to grow, learn, and hopefully run long-term, but if you're being treated resembling crap then it's time to desire happiness elsewhere where on earth you can be appreciated! Good luck!

I jump to work each hours of daylight and work with wonderful citizens for a great boss. We all support respectively other. Most of us have agreed we will adjectives work and retire at the same time because we would miss respectively other.
Use your current positon as a springboard to locate another one. If you are employed, stay employed with them. It is best to hold a job when hunting for another work. It is less pressure for sure.
Many situations similar to this exist in kith and kin owned small businesses. I'm not sure if that is what you are describing but they recurrently have these issues beside insulting employees and everything up to and sometimes including harrasment.
So yes nearby is a better day coming for you. Just travel to work each sunshine with hope that within is a place out there for you.
Don't permit this current situation drag you down. You don't want to get so focused on the cynical situation that you become like them.
You are better than that. I can describe you are kind and sensitve and want to be appreciated. You will find a duty that does that.
While you are waiting to find that new better situation stir and volunteer at a church, senior's center or a hospital. You will get a tentative sense of self worth as these people notify you how much you are appreciated. It will feel great and spawn the other seem bearable until you take a position where you can soak up that feeling at work.
