I am contained by the army as a nouns soldier?

I have be in for 5 years immediately if I don't reup again it will bring me to a total of 8 years or so. I want to get out, I tried this concluding time but I couldn't find anything. Like my skills and the civilian world are 2 COMPLETELY different worlds. So my question is what career should I be able to draw from if I get out and use my army nouns background? I enjoy done debt management, customer service, bank clerk (in iraq), processing which is taking in documents from unit and coding them on our computer system (fixing pay). We have section like budget, and accounting but we are not doing that rather yet those are civilian job. But with what I run now is within something that I should have be able to carry when I was attempting formerly? No bank cashiering or customer service over a phone for some company. I'm chitchat like 13.00 an hour, economically that was for kentucky take-home pay, kind of cheap living nearby.

How long should a resume be?

With 20 years in the IT business, I want to know what employer consider a good length is. My co-workers say aloud a three to four page resume shows experience, where as adjectives the books on resumes utter keep it to 1 or 2 page. If you routinely look at resumes, please tell me what you chew over.


Answers: Unless I was interviewing a VP position, much previous two pages and I lost interest.

2 page for 20 years sounds about right. You should NOT include job going back much more than 10 years unless you hold only held one chore in 10 years because it automatically shows your age. HR think old=expensive.

Most job seekers presume they have one resume. In realtiy, you should own multiple resumes, each one highlighting different specialities/skill sets. If they are looking for specific skills you own, those should be highlighted and other info should be down played.

My background is diverse (accounting, sale, management, HR) and I enjoy 5 totally different resumes and then I will even alter those to fit the duty description.

Resumes do one thing, and one piece only, carry you an interview. There is no need to include every skill you own, you just want to hit on the skills that the company is looking for. Other skills can be brought up, if applicable, in the interview.

I took a resume workshop and to be precise what they suggested, as they put it, you don't want to put all your cards on the table and not capture that first interview.

Put the meaty stuff, the important stuff similar to education, previous couple job, statement, personal information, and salary requirements. If that catch their eye, they'll call backbone and ask for the rest and that is your foot surrounded by the door. Always suggest yourself bringing it in, and see if they are of a mind to talk to you next.
You should list adjectives your experience and qualifications no thing what. But most employers would prefer it be short and sweet so they don't enjoy to look at it long to get an elucidation of the experience and qualifications that you own.

I knew an employer who would throw away resumes (without even looking at them) if they be longer than a page.
I prefer a single page with mere highlights. In reality, I will likely not look at it at adjectives unless you have sold yourself surrounded by your cover letter.

Answers: in northern California, RNs spawn the most (I'm an RN making about $60/hr next to health benefits, but I also work contained by a more urban area of that division of the state; nurses that work in WAY northern California probably trade name less, but still more than MRI techs and unquestionably more than physical therapists).
I live in a small town within Northern Cali, and I am a radiologic technologist, with advanced license in CT and MRI. I cannot recount you how much a PT or RN makes.

I hold been get-together experience in the pen, and I have held my specialized license for about 10 years. I currently work contained by a free standing imaging center, full time. My hourly pay is $28.

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists a short time ago did a large income survey. In CA, this is the average yearly clear:

RT (which you must be in writ to do CT scans): $71,063

primarily MRI: $83,145

primarily CT: $73,835

primarily mammography: $74,464
