Network admins usually get around 50-90k depending on where on earth you work and how good you are. As mentioned above Cisco is the place to be for Networking so if you craving to go that route next take a look into certifications. More info on certifications below.
You are comparing apples and oranges here. I believe DBA may own a higher net potential. However if you went for adjectives the Cisco certs that might be as good or better.
