When working within Retail am i legitimately required to do STOCK TAKE?
i work in a retail store and we be not rostered on to do stock take only told if we didnt come wed be in trouble. We be told we had to come contained by on our day bad and i didnt. i am now one asked for a doctors certificate. Others who work in that just walk out and went home. Why should i be the one to seize into trouble?Answers: It should be stated in your contract of work whether or not you are required to stock-take.
I strongly recommend you thoroughly read through your contract and, if in doubt, speak to your employer.
stock is a bit of retail.period...unless you signed a contract that specifically states you chore duties, you are at the mercy of management to doesn`t matter what you are told..and most job descriptions, and probably yours as powerfully, have the catch-all phrase inserted at the bring to a close of it that states "any and all other duties as required by management"
since you are not contained by management, you don't gross the rules and should do as you're told.
you are the one getting into trouble because you thumbed your nose at control and didn't even bother showing up.at least the others made the crack to be there and that's why they aren't human being subject to documentation of why they weren't there.

I was within my workplace shopping and a fellow supervisor was discussion to me and then she mentioned to a bank clerk that she was going to do something and the bank clerk started to question why she have chose to do it at that time. I said to the supervisor go do what you want your the supervisor. Then the desk clerk tells me to but out and i said she is the supervisor and you are a peon. So very soon she is going to tell my boss what I said. Is here anything that my boss can do to me? I was past its sell-by date the clock when I made the comment.Answers: Actually, there is no check to what he can do. You insulted another employee on company property and your time sheet have nothing to do beside it. In a very broad sense, this could be considered aggression and that is a policy defilement in most companies. Also, you weren't shopping. You be interfering with the usual work flow and most retail facilities hold, at least, an implied rule against that.
