Answers: Ok relax - here is the picture. I'm going to tell you what my soaring school counselor never told me.
You will probably transmute your major while you are surrounded by college. You might change it several times. Some citizens change their key so many times it take them more than 4 years to graduate. It took me 5 years and summer school.
After you receive out in your job you will again change it several times. I be a student missionary for 8 years, owned a bicycle shop and mail charge company for 19 years and am now a computer plan for the last 11 years. I loved respectively one of these jobs and stayed until it be clear it was time to verbs.
So don't worry that the decision you are making today have to ending a lifetime. They don't. You can change and try different things. I hope that help take the pressure rotten.
Your friends and others can give you some input but you must be the one to settle on where you want to be in motion.
If you like computers please don't turn do health concern just because you hear that is the hot charge for today. Pick something you like to do. Consider your gifts and if you close to to work with relations or not. Listen to what your teachers and others relay you that you are good at.
Volunteer at a hospital or nursing home. If you are pious at computers volunteer at a school or church or senior center to relief with their computers and perchance offer to initiate a beginning class or minister to being a lab assistant for an instructor. Join the computer club at your conservatory.
So just relax and look at this as a flight. Find what you enjoy doing and follow that until that road runs out afterwards you can switch paths. In that time you will own learned deeply and made a lot of friends. If you are a spiritual human being ask God to help you enjoy wisdom and guide you where on earth He wants you to budge.
Best wishes

I applied for a job yester by sending the company an e-mail,how long should i wait to get a reply..?
Answers: Don't hold your breath. These days, companies won't respond to you unless they want to interview you. You may never hear from them again. Just keep applying to others as well in the meantime.
It depends on the company and the level of the position.
If you're applying for a low-level position, calling the next day or two days later is normal. It shows that you're interested. I have a friend from a family with 9 children and 2 parents, and when he applied for a job, he kept asking different people if he should call back--everyone said yes, and so he ended up calling them almost 11 times in one day! The extra interest caused the company to create a position for him. It was basically a minimum wage receptionist type position.
If you're applying for something a bit higher up, you might wait as long as a week. I wouldn't wait longer than that, however.
I'd wait about three days then call them to acknowledge that they did receive the email and the resume OK.
This can lead into asking that Human Resources person more about the company, i.e. what are they looking for, any other positions, names and approximate times when they start to review resumes, etc. Look at like gathering some intelligence about the company, showing real interest.
Follow this up with a call about a week later, or at a time the rep suggests. Try not to miss a step! And get names of the managers that are hiring. The more you know, the better the opportunity. Good luck!
