Do jobs really hire you when you go to these on-line colleges?
Answers: I received my Bachelor's Degree completely on-line from the University of Maryland University College.
I was hired with no problem.
Make sure the college is accredited and has is a reputable school. Generally schools with actual campus's that also have on-line classes are the most reputable.
if they have a full time regular program, noone will really know you didn't go to that one. Make sure it is FULLY accredited.

I am a nurse and I recently failed a pre-employment drug test, what will happen to my nursing license now?
Answers: Does the company even report it to your license board? You can probably request to be retested and make sure you pass the second test. If it does go all the way to your board then you should retain a lawyer.
I doubt the company would report to your state's board. Even if they did, I don't think anything would come from it unless legal action were brought against you (like you were arrested for smoking crack) or you were caught stealing morphine from the Pyxis.
But I don't think smoking pot on a friday night would really affect your license.
They will most likely report that to the State Board of Nursing and are probably required to.
I would also highly suggest you VOLUNTARILY get into a drug-treatment program (one of the warning signs of an addict is complete disregard for a way to earn a living).
I'll tell you now, your entire career is in jeopardy. Hospitals usually belong to a system that can cover several states and that has essentially barred you from applying to other hospitals of that same system.
Before you apply for another job, drug test yourself.

Don't listen to those that discriminate you. But you should of known not to fail a pre-employment drug test, I mean that's the most important. First you need to learn about proper drug use and how to waiver around it. Marijuana is not a good drug of choice especially if it is like a weekend thing.
