If my profession closes impulsive, do I still bring back my full hours?
I feel resembling I'm being treated with prejudice. The office I work surrounded by closed about 2 hours hasty twice last week and my organizer is telling me that I won't acquire paid for the time that I worked. I as a rule get past its sell-by date work at 8:30 but they closed at 6:30 so I had to will early.I grain that I should be paid for the time that they closed since I did not ask to walk off early. Am I right? I am an hourly hand and I need full checks to support my relatives.

Answers: If you're hourly, then no, they don't enjoy to pay you.
Only salaried human resources making a yearly wage would still be remunerated if a place closed early.
No, it's not your show disapproval that they closed early, but you didn't truly do any work after the place closed so technically you don't have to be rewarded for it.
I don't think closing untimely two days in one week is the sign of a successful business. I would probably start looking for other (or additional) employment if I be you.
You can bet your manager know the rules and that means you won't take paid.
Start looking for a better chore, sounds like they may be running out of work for the staff which is not right.

Do you want to work directly with users, or do you want to dance into management, fundraising, nouns?
It really depends on your skills and interests. Not sure if you are in the UK, but the Guardian on Wednesdays is the place to look (or on their website). It would help out you if you did a bit of voluntary work in decree to gain some experience. Charities in the Uk roughly recruit on a competance base model where your scope will not stand you in as much stead as actual experience. Also, don't expect job progression in like peas in a pod organisation - most funding is time limited and you want to plot out your own career bridleway by moving from organisation to organisation and working your way up approaching that
