What those allow you to do is work "rotations" over a few years to gain experience in not one and only different functions but in project & relations management. hey im am 15 and i am trying to choose my career, i really wallow in working on cars but ive heard it doesnt earnings much so i was heading towards an electrician. but no i am thinking that i should stick next to whati enjoy instead of chasing the money.Ive hear that diesel fitters make allright so yer i dont mind getting a bit dirty!
Answers: if you own a vocational high university close by you should see about transfering if they hold a mech program you could also join the flotilla once you graduate as they have the seabee program which have a very suitable mechanic program and once you get that training you would definately be within demand working on massive diesels,, I say flotilla as I used to be a navy recruiter but any of the services propose this program.. good luck and do what you love and the money will follow!
My husband have been a self employed mechanic for over 30 yrs. For the most slice he has made a greatly good living but the bright technology is pushing out the small shops. If you go this route plan on working for a dealership not out on your own.
