I am a freshman in college and want to switch my core to history and minor in political science..i started out as a business through just because my own flesh and blood said it would be a good chief and i figured i would manufacture good money right out of college...but i summarily found out that i hate the business main...i like poly sci better but my conservatory only have a minor available for political science so thats why i would major contained by history and minor in poly sci...the point is if i major within history i don't want a career surrounded by history...i love learning roughly speaking history and political science but i don't want to be a teacher or work surrounded by a boring museum...what are some realistic career with a point in history and minor within political science?..and does this mean below par be poor for the rest of my life if i crucial in this?..because i realize sometimes employer think history majors don't enjoy the education to work for full-size corporations...could i get a duty in canon?...any help or suggestions?..i would really appreciate itAnswers: If you are planning on working for a voluminous corporation you need to gain a business degree. If you are really intersted within political science you can begin your work toward a poly sci amount where you are at afterwards transfer.
I go to college and it was a complete throw away of time. No one cares that I be more educated and more qualified for a livelihood than EVERYONE else. (Some people enjoy not even been to college and enjoy better paying jobs than those who do.) So my counsel is to do what you want to because it will all be pointless surrounded by the end. You own to get really lucky, because NO ONE will strictness about college because not a soul cared something like my college education. You own to know someone in the area that you want to get a post in, contained by order to capture a job. Otherwise you enjoy to have an incredible amount of luck or you are doomed! Sorry I can't confer you any suggestions or any jobs. But ask ancestors in your crucial. Or maybe if you dislike your university so much change school. It's up to you.

She is really quiet but also pretty smart too (3.5 GPA or difficult I think). What can a 16 year ancient girl with no position experience whatsoever do to earn a little bit of currency on the side after school?More info: She doesn't approaching to talk to inhabitants but will if obligated. She likes to read so I said try watching the papers for positions contained by places like bookstores or libraries. If anyone have an idea of a livelihood that could help her it would be greatly appreciated. She is looking to turn into the medical field but if she doesn't hold any experience how can she work? So yeah. Help needed PLEASE!
Answers: She could work as a tutor, as long as she could handle working near kids.
Also, grocery stores would be good, she could stock shelves and sweep (I would recommend finding one specifically flexible with schedule though).
She could find an elderly person who wishes someone to do chores or keep them company.
Hospitals are other looking for people to work contained by their kitchens. Deliver or serve food to people.
This a super bearing to get exposed to the medical pasture. Seeing different types of people & medical staff.
Wal-mart. They will earnings slightly above minimum wage to start, maybe alot above depending on location, and I have no complaints with their benefits. It is a great place for a immature worker to get a start. They should work near you with the academy hours, plus you will get retail experience and other have that chance if things dont work out with what you really want to do. That is the second best preference, the first is military. Any branch pretty much assures the best training in the world for anything field you want to attain in to.
How to quit my livelihood...?
I've been thinking roughly quitting my job and pursuing another one. This is my first available job because I'm a teenager. Since, it is my first chore, I don't know what to do in demand to quit. I want to make it as smooth as possible, and still hold good relations, so I can put the career down as a reference for adjectives jobs. I know most employer want a two week notice, is this true?Answers: given the cutback in most parts of the country receive a firm job volunteer first would be a starting point before you quit. contribute your current employer 2 weeks notice and check out of on good language. you never know how things will turn out.
Put your resignation in a communiqu¨¦ and hand-carry it to your supervisor, giving two weeks notice. Ask your supervisor if you can use him as a hint.
It's best not to resign until you at least own the offer of a topical job. If you give notice one job past you have another, prospective employer are going to want to know why you left, and will assume that YOU be the problem. NEVER bad-mouth a previous job or supervisor. It brands you as a complainer.
Yes. Give consideration.
You depend on having the pay-check,
the boss depends on have your work.
You don't want to just walk out him in the lurch.
If you don't hold the new livelihood yet, submission to train your
replacement. It shows a responsible attitude toward
your obligations as an member of staff, and should get you
a better opinion.
Yeah, you'd better give two weeks' discern. Employers get ticked bad if you just bip contained by and say, "Hey, Dood, I'm leavin'." Even worse is a moment ago taking off in need a word.
I'd get the investigational job crumpled up before you quit the prehistoric one. It's a lot easier to win another job if you're employed.
How long own you worked there? If you're of late short of a year, it might be a good opinion to hang surrounded by for a few months. Employers look askance at people who haven't stayed at any commission for a year.
When you have your ducks contained by a row and are ready administer notice, run in to see the boss when he's not material busy. Say something like "I've enjoy working here, but I've been asked to transport a position at ______ Company, starting in two weeks."
Sometimes they'll cut you loose that same daytime; other times they have you work the two weeks, train a unknown guy/gal, etc.
Your last light of day, clean up your work nouns. Throw out your gum wrappers, etc. Do not take any company materials (duh). Be sure to leave your job a forwarding address. If you have a prospect, say goodbye to your supervisor and your co-workers. Be professional. Never influence anything negative going on for your old company or anybody in that or the product they sell.
