Is there real jobs for single mothers that are home-based that you don;t have to pay a price for just apply?
Answers: There are no easy or quick internet jobs or work-from-home jobs. There are going to be more people posting answers to your question, and they are going to claim that they are legitimate. They may even have a list of warnings against scams on their home page. But, if you look around their site, you will see that *everything* on the site is about getting you to send money for a "kit" to work at home and all sorts of big claims about wealth.
A nonprofit organization runs this site that offers
Tips for Avoiding Work-at-Home Scams,

Seems like a good list.
You want to work from home, I'm guessing because of child care issues. You can certainly work "under the table" and offer to take care of other people's children, or to take in laundry, for a fee.
There *are* people who work from home doing professional work, but their jobs require all the same things as onsite jobs: an area of expertise, previous work experience, excellent references, an academic degree and a regular time commitment.
I have known many people who worked from home via the Internet, but none have done any of these jobs that get offered on the Internet as quick money. Rather, they have been professional translators (fluent in at least two languages), graphic designers (with extensive portfolios), web designers, web site managers, editors, and proposal writers, and they have worked for companies that have written telecommuting policies and a real, physical address that you can go see for yourself (it's not some person's house -- it's a real office). And they all have gone onsite to the company they work for occasionally and, therefore, the work is not really *entirely* from home.
Just be really careful -- don't hand over money to anyone who says they can help you work from home.
Geez I wish! Let me know if you find one

Can't believe only $55K near MSM, something is wrong! You need to check and compare near others in like peas in a pod industry. Maybe you can check out www.salary.com to see what you are certainly worth..
The IT field have been flooded next to people who enjoy degrees or certifications but no practical experience. Have a pro whip a look at your resume. You may be selling your previous experience short. It's a competitive field so rather self promotion won't hurt.
Hang in near and good luck!
