Are within any job that allow individuals to travel the world?
ok. I am getting ready to graduate from grad institution and the idea of going stern to a 9-5 (rather 8-3) type of job scare the heck out of me (doesn't it scare you?). I'd to some extent have a trade that would allow me to work but on a varied rota and also permit me to travel, especially between the U.S. and Australia. I want to hear from culture that are not living the everyday 9-5. What jobs are you doing that get hold of you out of the rat race and cart you around the world? I know about pilots and stewardesses and the peace corps, but i want to hear going on for other jobs/fields.BTW I will have a edification degree within May 2008, but I want to do something else.

Answers: Have you considered travel writing? Not sure if you're a good writer, but you must own done some papers to get that grad point.
You can set your schedule and destination. Might be a bit sturdy to break into, but if you do, it would be a fantastic job.

One more idea -- you might look into a sale role in a company that have a presence in the US and Australian market. Airlines, financial service firms, etc. You would have to work, but typically you'd be doing a tour a bit so you can somewhat set your schedule.

First of all permit me clarify based on my professional experience that here is no shortcut in life span.
The type of job you want to acquire in can be from travel and tourism industry.
Else you can unify some principle company which originates from Australia and U.S.
Namely For U.S. G.E., Carrier Aircon, etc but these adjectives does not match your academic so you can upgrade with some speciales courses after your schooling Deg. and get involve surrounded by training.
In my opinion you hold a great outlook on life. Yes within are those of us who have chosen alternatives to traditional 9-5s and are importantly skilled and educated. I would provoke you to review the information at the site below. Business schools, economist and other experts are advocate entrepreneurial endeavors as the new current of the future. what in the region of recruiting or sale...i know that the recruiters with my company are stern and forth between asia and the us, and latin america and the US. We are setting up sites globally, so recruiters and individuals contained by sales are traveling constantly to supervise our sights over sea. Thats an option for you.
They can also work from home and hold flexible hours.
Favourite opening vs. Higher earnings?
i am married and currently working in a small private company. I loves my career very much. However, i be offered a similar post in another huge private programmed company with 50% more of my current take-home pay. I am not sure whether it is the time for me to change my working environment and to start adjectives over again at somewhere new. The take-home pay was really attractive to me but i afraid i might regret of changing my assignment. Higher salary vehicle more challenges and should i lately stay at where i am?Another piece that i'm worried is my boss is now 50 plus and soon to retire and i lone 26 years old. What if he granted to retire n end up his business contained by 10 years time? Should i gave up this trial opportunity and waited for my boss to expire his business then i find a hot job by next? I love my current job but i also opt for a high salary. With my current opening i still have to work for years to get hold of 50% increment. Should i change my errand?
Answers: Liking your job is incredibly important. You nouns a bit nervous roughly moving to another company. If the job is similar, you shouldn't be apprehensive because you'll have the skills and should wallow in the content the same. All alien jobs require an adjustment time of year, and you'll likely be fine after that transition.
A 50% increase is great, but you want to weigh future earn opportunity. If the new situation has a pious earning prospects into the adjectives as well, later that is a strong positive. Generally, significant companies also have better benefits such as time off time, paternity/maternity leave and condition care. As you're married, you should weigh that surrounded by as well.
Higher earnings doesn't necessarily mean more challenge. But research the position to find out. What will your responsibilities be? Are they broader than your current responsibilities?
If you're still undecided, discuss w/ your kith and kin what is most important to you. Then craft a pro/con list for both job. See which one comes closest to your values.

Were you offered the big-company job because you applied for it, or did they come around looking for you?
If you applied for it, afterwards I guess that would mean that you're exploring other option -- probably because, even though you say you love your current profession, you realize that you probably can't stay there the rest of your working go.
Your decision is a tough one. I wouldn't want to own to make it!
There are so heaps other questions that dance along with your edict. Such as: where do you see your duration in ten years? Will you want to hold children, if you don't have them already? If so, which company will be more accomodating for your familial?
Or if you have kids following on, will you decide to quit working altogether and become a full-time mom? If so, afterwards it doesn't matter if your current boss ends the business within 10 years. (Well, it might matter to other ancestors, but not to you.)
Will the big company ever ask you to relocate? Will relocating be a necessity to further your career, or even stay near the company?
How's your financial situation? Can you live with the gross you make very soon? Or do you need the better salary to better form ends meet, pay envelope off debts, etc.?
Maybe your current opening will offer you more money surrounded by order to keep hold of you. It might not be a 50% raise, but possibly they'll be willing to present you a decent incline because they don't want to lose you to the "big guys."
What are the benefits (insurance, retirement plan, vacation, etc.) approaching at the big company, compared to your current job?
Also, conceivably you can ask around and find out something about the morale at the big company. Do they own high turnover? Do relatives seem glowing there, or not so much? I'm not sure how you'd stir about finding out -- conceivably you know someone who works in like peas in a pod industry who has hear some things about the place, and you can ask them.
At the ending of the day, I'd manufacture a pro-and-con list for respectively choice, and then receive a decision.

It seem that both jobs are extremely similar in expressions of job duties, etc. It also seem that you have serious concerns almost the future within your current position.
It's difficult to change sometimes, and the prospects of research a new position and tidiness are troubling. However, it seems you hold the right background for the unusual job, and it sounds as if this is a great opportunity.
I assume you enjoy met the people for whom you would be working. If you are OK next to them, I think it's worth the risk, especially at this stage of your art.
