Sometimes they'll have completely unsystematic jobs that you will never own thought of doing. I once temped in a college for a week, and I have to walk around every classroom during respectively period and count how abundant people be in the room!

Is it worth describing my out-of-date VP?
So I quit working for my last company a year ago because I couldn't stand working near my boss. He steals the young creative staff's philosophy and passes them sour as his own. He acts nice to your obverse but then conference badly roughly you behind your vertebrae (I know because I'm friends with most of the other employees). Worst of adjectives he is just fruitless at his job. When he realize he screwed up he always finds a process to blame someone under him for his poor celebration.I just well-educated that a hard working friend of mine get fired because she spoke up about it. He probably feel threatened that she was going to "out him" as a unpromising manager to his boss, the VP of the company. It doesn't affect me one mode or the other if I tell the VP what he's really approaching, I'm just not sure if it's the right point to do. Should I just permit it be water lower than the bridge? Or should I be upfront with my dated VP and write an email about what a very bad manager this guy is since more people quit or receive fired?
Answers: I hate to be cynical, but I've see what you're talking around. Some companies hold Exit Interviews when you leave so they can determine if here are problems within the company that necessitate fixing. Some actually fix them; others only just go through the pretense of man concerned. Upper management usually can see the problems, and any fix them or rationalize them.
In your case, it's a issue whether it's a large company or a small one. Large companies usually terminate up fixing themselves as a matter of survival eventually. Small companies wouldn't authorize themselves in front of a public mirror. A professionally written communication might be personal satisfaction, but politics have a way of following you, years subsequent. As they say, discretion is the better member of valor.
If you really believe that YOU can make a difference where on earth others have inferior, then by adjectives means, be in motion for it. But if they've fired others for the same article, then they don't want to know, and you're recounting them will only engender strong feelings surrounded by future reference.
If you can talk to the vp, afterwards I would do it.
If they decide to sit on the information, next at least you tried AND they can sit fund and watch the bafoon.
Don't email, but type a professionally written reminder, addressed to him as 'personal and confidential'. In your epistle, address how this boss's actions and behavior affect the business. VP's (and most other race in authority) don't want to hear roughly personality conflicts or bureau squabbles; they want to know if their business is suffering and why.
Be clear and concise. Use facts that you can back up, or things you yourself hold witnessed or been the target of. How did those things affect your job rite? Do NOT use any hearsay or gossip.
I cogitate it's a great idea for you to inform this VP, but since you don't work nearby anymore, be prepared for whatever may result from it. You may be burning a bridge, or he may appreciate your physical exertion. Expect that you may never hear what comes of your letter, as ably.
Good luck!
