How to answer "What are your weaknesses?"?
Answers: There is no right answer. It's a way to see HOW you answer, to determine your personal character, or personality. Everyone has weaknesses; we all know that. And no matter how much you work on improving them, nobody ever gets to perfection, so there are always more to work on.
And even what's considered a weakness to one person is considered a strength to another person. So, any definitive answer is a no-win situation. Basically, it's a question of whether you've evaluated yourself and found weaknesses that you're working on?
Another way to phrase it is, in what way have you examined yourself for self-improvement, which leads to WHAT are you doing to accomplish it? In the hands of a competent interviewer, he can determine much about a subject's personality. In the hands of an idiot, it's nothing more than a pointless game.
“I am a perfectionist and cant leave until all of today's work
is done; HOWEVER I am a team player and will follow my
Managers lead.”
“My weakness is multi-tasking because I like to prioritize;
HOWEVER I am learning to do multiple things at once and still give the customer my full attention.”
“I have trouble delegating; HOWEVER I am getting better
at trusting others abilities.”
I have an attitude that makes me think I can do anything.
It really does cause problems since there is a lot that I cannot do, and I get so discouraged because I want to perform up here^ but I am only performing down here - if that makes any sense.. in the end I think any effort I attempt is worthless since it does not achieve what I was striving for. But then someone acknowledges everything I have done and I get my attitude back...it is a never ending cycle!
- is this an interview question ?
well the best way to answer these question is to be a "lier / smooth talker" even if you are not one.
- Just say that "When I take upon a project or an assignment, I tend to bring excellence in it and that diverts me from being fun or family oriented person for that short period of time. I get too focused in the given work that I have to step back and take a break for let my mind relax."
I have been working on these small negative issues I have by trying to find different ways to relax and have fun although working hard is still the best way I can performm well ...
so yea .. pretty much MAKE UP something that sounds good
trust me ... in professional and cut-throat world today .. if you are going to be too honest . it might not work out on ur side ... Although see who is interviewing you .. you may be OK with giving truely honest answers .but work-world requires you tobe prepred for the toughest challanges before you get hired
==========
by the way, if this is a question from ur parents or girl or friend or somebody in ur relations just be honest about it ... and be cool and accept ur limitations .
"I do the absolute minimum at work, my personal life takes top priority, I hate the IDEA of co-workers and I drink heavily at lunch time."
On second thought, honesty won't help.
How far contained by mortgage to apply? Please backing!?
I am interested in a nouns postion with American Airlines within my town. The job posting open today and will close May 1, 2008. I understand that this channel until this day, they will look for cadidates. I am available to apply very soon, however, my school finishes may 9th and I wouldn't know how to start until June 1st , 2008. So should I apply now and procure the interview process started? or wait until closer to the posting finish date to apply to ensure that byt he time i would get hired (if i get hired) it would be closer to my available start date?Answers: I would apply now, and put your "date available" as June 1st. If they teem all the positions in the past you apply, you will be S.O.L. But if they really like you, they will loaf for you to finish your schooling.
If it does not close until May 1, then they won't hold anyone start before that time. If you dawdle until school is over, you're out of luck. The position will be complete.
Apply now. As it get later along, they're become more sleepy of all the applicants. Some before ones will really stand out, making later ones even smaller amount noticeable.
If you spawn it to an interview, THEN is a good time to negotiate something like finishing school and starting on June 1, or conceivably May 15. If they can afford to wait 3 months for a hire, after an extra week - 3 weeks isn't going to be insurmountable.
