Is my husband going to lose his mission again?
He works at a factory and his dept. deals beside customer/client relations. Recently, he was told by the company that they enjoy decided to destroy that entire department so basically he & the 5 other nation in his department be getting laid off. They signed the paperwork & consequently all of a sudden, he get told that the company changed their minds & they will keep the department, even though it's an expense for them. They told my hubby that in attendance are no signs of eliminating the department anytime soon, and that they are lookin forward to a great 2008! They even give him some reading material for change that will take place within January of 2009. My hubby is confused now and he's thinking that the possibly they've told him that they're not going to close that department cause they want them to stick around for a few more months. Should he look for another available job?(I asked a very similar cross-examine last week & get some great answers, but looking for more answers/different points of view.)TY
Answers: A company explicitly thinking about getting rid of the department that deal with customers is head for trouble sooner or later. There is no greater nouns that a company can focus on to improve or declare its viability.
I once saw a sign at a rental coup¨¦ counter. It said, "If you think in attendance is anyone more important than our customers, later think again." In today's environment, have good relations near your customers is the only path to survive.
I can't tell you what to do. If it be me, I'd be looking for another job.
If he think this may be the case, later by all mode if I were him I would start looking for something presently. If something better or just as right is offered, then he can go off and not worry give or take a few getting a cut in earnings. If he doesn't find anything right away, it will give him time to see if they are really on the up and up. I don't see why they would administer him reading material for change though if they were not serious within keeping him. It could have be that they jumped the gun and realize that it was not a smart move. Good luck.

Does anyone know how I can find a Headhunter in CT? I am an Executive Assistant contained by a Law Firm in NYC who of late moved back to CT and not sure how long I want to commute. Alot of the job I have see in CT do not reimburse half as much as I construct now, and I can't afford to thieve such a large paycut. I'm looking for a Headhunter because they get one of my girlfriends a great job within one of the top brokerage firms in NYC.
